Had a great experience here tonight! We have been trying to get here on a Thursday to try the tacos for quite some time and we will definitely be going back. The service was great, the drinks were a little slow from the bar but our waitress kept checking in with us. What came next was simply amazing... The dessert special was the absolute bomb! It was smoked pineapple with coconut and pineapple gelato sundae! Food was cold , got the Korean tacos, would have been good if they were warm. Corn bread is good. Got a side of cucumber salad , terrible as it was clearly old. To be honest I had low expectations for this place, since I drove by it a billion times and always chose to go somewhere else. The service was good and efficient, but the thing I remembered besides all the chairs being super wobbly, was 2 of the bartenders gossiping about another bartender that was there the minute she turned her back. Disgusting! Especially at a restaurant for all to hear. They tried to whisper, but you could still hear them. Not to mention one of the owners was sitting at the bar beating his chest on how their business is the best, his spices and barbecue is the best around. I guess he was too busy talking about himself to notice the real issues and as a paying customer that has standards, and morals this is unacceptable. The funny thing was not too much longer after I came here you noticed that the business had a "Help Wanted" sign. Hopefully it was those 2 girls who were fired, but something tells me it was probably the girl who was singled out ended up quitting. Came here at 6:30 on a Sunday night. The staff have us time to decide our meals, but didn't inform that they were out of beef ribs, brisket and pulled chicken till we tried to order. She also inform us that they were out of cheese to after we order food. We all had to pick different items. We got ribs, pulled, sweet potatoes, Korean BBQ tacos and a steak. The food also took 20 minutes to come to our table. Everything was a let down. The Korean BBQ taco was to saucy and the soft shell was burnt. The ribs and pulled pork came out cold and had went to much sauce to hide the fact it was reheated. The sweet potato were so soggy. The Mac n cheese was good and the corn bread too. My friend's steak was over cooked and had some spots that tasted good. What an underwhelming place that was featured on phantom gourmet. It's pricy , service was okay and the food was a let down. Edited to add: the owner of this business contacted me, he told me it's going to be my fault that his business would fail (because of the coronavirus) and apparently will be my fault because of my one star review. When I mentioned the fact I have cancer and that I would be further reviewing on Google, at this point the apologies began. However I shouldn't have to tell a business owner I have cancer to not be attacked. I would give ZERO stars if I could. For the love of God, just go to Kinfolks. They have a brick and mortar store now and the BBQ is amazing!! Bad atmosphere, dirty floors and told us they put a spicy rub on all ribs and that there was no alternative. First but definitely not my last visit here. Went with a few friends yesterday and we are all food lovers, me a being a big BBQ lover also and was very excited to try this place. Place was packed, line out the door at 6pm. Small bar, probably mostly locals or regulars as everyone was talking and have a good time. Chalk board menu listing delicious looking specials, eclectic for a BBQ place which shows they aren't just one style/cuisine which makes it great to give another reason to visit again! Good beer and drink menu also. Couldn't decide on food so we got the full pit, basically everything g they offer on a tray! HUGE portions of sides, and each one was done PERFECTLY! Mac and cheese was nice and hot and delicious. House made Kim chi was excellent! Gumbo was delicious, spicy, hot and soooo good! Dipped each item in the side sauces provided but barley as each items was hot, seasoned perfectly and the ribs had an awesome smoke ring and were super tender! Only downfall was the cornbread. Was just ok BUT served warm with softened sweet butter which made it better. Not a whole lot of decent BBQ in the area so glad we found this. BBQ lovers do not skip this place. read more

Good experience checking out 2 Jerks BBQ. First off, it has a great name and as soon as you sit down you are given excellent corn bread. My girlfriend ordered the chicken and waffles which were very good. Only recommendation would be to put the syrup on the side as the waffle arrived soggy. I ordered the brisket platter. The sides (Mac and cheese & sweet potato fries) were excellent. The brisket was good but very fatty. Meal would have been five stars if it was less fatty. The Atmosphere: Low key local establishment. Plenty of seating, and plenty of guests who are ready to get their BBQ on! The Food: As mentioned before, we shared the appetizer of the Tots & Gravy, which was a heaping pile of tater tots covered in sausage gravy, but on top of that, they added cheese curds, pulled pork AND a fried egg! For my meal, I ended up getting the Chicken and Waffles. The presentation itself was fantastic, but the overall meal was just okay. The chicken was very salty, and a bit dry for my liking, however, I understand we aren't in the deep south so Raynham, MA can only compete at such a level! However, the chicken was great in comparison to the waffles, which were immediately soggy and soaked up most of the syrup before you had the opportunity to start enjoying it! Even though it wasn't the best I've had, the leftovers tasted almost identical, so I do appreciate the solid addition meal opportunities! Was very excited to try it here and was super let down. My new landlord has been talking it up for weeks. Finally had a chance to stop between stops. Maybe it was the lunch timing or my sandwich choice. I walked in to the cute bar which was pretty busy for lunch which was super encouraging. Found a seat. The bartender was anything but helpful or friendly when I asked for the tap list. Her crassness lasted the entire lunch. Never asking how my food was and being rude at my cornbread request. She was nice to her regulars though. My pulled chicken sandwich had multiple bones in it and wasn't pulled. It was (poorly) carved roasted chicken. Everything else that walked by looked super. Very tasty and generous portions!!! Came here based on Yelp reviews when in the area randomly. My experience here was very mixed. Our waiter, Mike, was very friendly, well informed on the menu options and did not forget to check in with us. That said, it took 40 minutes or so for our meals to arrive; my boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich with street corn and I got the pulled pork plate with Brussels sprouts and the fried green tomatoes. My pork was tender and moist-- I dipped it in some BBQ sauce, which was delicious and added a little something extra. The Brussels sprouts came with chunks of ham-- not necessary and sort of odd; bacon would have been better. They did have great flavor otherwise. With respect, I quietly told the waiter I had an issue with my drink and he replaced it within a few minutes. The fried green tomatoes was more like fried green tomato caprese salad-- which was a good thing. It was absolutely delicious, however tomatoes were covered in corn meal, they should have used corn flour as the texture took away from the tomato... My boyfriend's Cuban was delicious, however, the ratio of all the fillings were on point. Overall the experience was good. I've had 2 Jerks on my "Wanna Try" List for a while now, and when I needed a place to meet a friend half way between my home and Randolph, I thought it'd be the perfect excuse to finally try it. We met at 7:30 on an incredibly rainy/lightening-y Friday evening, and after calling earlier and finding out they only accept reservations for parties over 6, I was nervous we'd have to wait a long time, but thankfully, I think because of the awful weather, we were able to walk right in, though it was still pretty busy. There did look to be some outdoor seating on a covered patio that would be nice in the warmer weather. We were greeted with fresh cornbread and honey butter, and all of the appetizers looked great, so we decided to split the fried green tomatoes and tater tot poutine along with a couple of bottled beers. I've never had fried green tomatoes before, but the tomatoes themselves don't have much, if any flavor, so they rely on the hot crunchy batter and pimento cheese that was starting to melt on top. I'd love to try the same exact thing, but with pickles so that there was even more flavor. The poutine was fantastic, I'm not sure what they do with their tater tots, but the gravy, cheese, pulled chicken (we were informed after ordering they were out of pulled pork) and egg on top did nothing but compliment each other. For dinner, I went with the 2 meat platter, and chose the half smoked chicken (after reading previous yelp reviews) and originally was going to have the pulled pork, but when I found out they didn't have any more, I went with my 2nd choice, ribs. It comes with your choice of two sides, so I decided on mac and cheese as well as collard greens. There was a delicious dry rub on both the chicken and the ribs, as well as a variety of sauces on the table which completed the perfectly cooked meat wonderfully. The mac and cheese was exactly what you want it to be, and the collard greens, which I've also never had before were incredibly flavorful. We weren't asked about dessert (I would've ordered the banana pudding if we had), but we were one of the last tables, so I imagine they wanted to close up. After all was said and done, the bill with liquor, tax and tip, came to about $90 for the both of us. It's not the cheapest night out, but you get huge portions, with enough to take home, and you'll enjoy everything you order. read more

Just finished a feast with my family.The house smoked bacon is simply AWESOME! Enjoyed moist pulled Pork. The Chicken was brined and smoked with their own blend of seasoning. Pork ribs were cooked to perfection and included their rub. The brisket was TENDER moist and had good Bark. The only thing I would like to see is more Hickory smoke in these products. We had brisket and pulled pork. Probably the best pulled pork I have had. Tender and not mushy. Great flavor. Brisket was also very good. Okra/ssg gumbo was too spicy for me, but most will like it. Cucumber salad was refreshing. 2 Jerks is as good as/better than any bbq place I have been to in this country. The service was also very good. I ordered pulled pork, sweet potato fries, and cole slaw. Well, the rectangle shaped corn muffin with whole kernel corn was ok. The sweet potato fries were good The creamy coleslaw was good. I did not care for the pork. I couldn't taste any seasoning at all. The outside had a little burnt skin, but there was very little smoke flavor. Since this review, I was contacted by the owner. Chris D and told my review was unfair. I was contacted by Lewy L today and told I was a clown, probably ordered burnt ends, couldn't cook, and needed to get a life. Yelp is a public forum, and people are free to say as they wish. I've been doing this for three or four years now, and this is the first time I have been criticized for a review in such a way. If you want to use Yelp to promote your business, you've got to take the good reviews with the bad. read more

Ok so I'm going to start by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Kinfolks so I was a little afraid to try this place. I was actually pleasantly surprised. They have THE BEST BRUSSEL SPROUTS in the world! Lol. I loved them. I also had half a chicken, mac n cheese (which was also amazing), and their street corn without the flaming cheetos. I honestly thought putting mayo on corn was weird and I was right, sorry. Lol. Not my thing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and I loved the dry rub.
