Food is usually pretty decent. The service at the bar top is solid as well. This past week I've been here a few times and they have been out of many food items for the past four days. Today, they only have wings and some burgers. Completely unacceptable! How do you screw up your food order as the manager that bad?! Ambiance, let's talk about that. This is west Texas and it's supposed to be a draft house. I've got music being blared in Spanish from two directions, different songs. It feels more like Mexico City than a draft house in Texas. I'll call ahead moving forward making sure they have a full menu. read more

The music in the restaurant was loud and unappealing. To make it worse, the kitchen staff had their own music blaring and was almost as loud as the restaurant. Nothing worse than listening to two different songs at the same time. The food was pretty pathetic. Frozen mozzarella sticks and wings. We ordered the sampler and it was basically a bunch of fried cheese in different forms. All from a frozen box. The "queso " was the canned ballpark cheese sauce. Nachos were also very unimpressive. Think Doritos with cheese sauce and a very small amount of meat. Almost like they accidentally dropped a few pieces of meat on the plate. We will definitely not ever be going back. read more

Love this hidden gem off the beaten path! Wings are fried with good hot sauce. Served with Blue Cheese or Ranch. Hot and tasty! Javelina Queso was delivered although I asked for the Nachos. Still a good choice as the queso had all the fixins just in a cup. Plenty of Queso foe the chips so I was not overly disappointed. Music a bit load but then again I was seated under the speaker. Cest la Vie. All good once again! read more

Service, meals, and drinks were great. We stopped in mid-afternoon and ordered two drinks, a burger, and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. All were very good. While the burger and sandwich were a bit expensive, the drinks were well priced, making our overall experience a fair price. I'd definitely eat there again. read more

I was looking for a bar with draft beer and sports on tv. This one wasn't bad. The beer couldve been a couple degrees colder but it was cold enough. I had the spicy lemon pepper wings and they were hot and crispy 4/5. As soon as I sat down I was greeted with chips and salsa. The service was average and the bartender not too attentive. The music was so loud that it was hard to communicate. It's pretty good for Pecos but probably wouldn't do well in a larger city. read more

horrible service, expensive, the music is hella loud and if you sit at the bar, don't expect drinks! It/Her was more interested in the other end of the bar and watching every woman get up and sit down. walked in at 7:03, walked out at 7:55. had 1 beer, ordered another one twice, ordered a popper burger and never saw it/her again! left a $20 on the bar and it/her probably still doesn't know that im gone! I will not spend another red cent in there! read more

online it said that this restaurant was closing at 10PM. We walked in @ 8:35pm and were told they were closing the kitchen early ... turned us all away! I can understand 930-945PM but 8:35 absolutely ridiculous read more

Giving this a 4-star rating because I feel like it's under-rated (amongst other Pecos restaurants). My husband and I spent the night in Pecos and wee looking for a "good" place to eat. This was the 2nd choice for us, as our first choice (based on convenience only as it was located next to our hotel) was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had zero expectations based on the reviews but needed to eat, so headed to the restaurant. It was a Sunday night and, to our pleasant surprise, found the place to be packed! I chose the Cajun chicken sandwich (sans pico) and my husband went with the basic burger. We were both very pleasantly surprised! Our dishes were perfectly cooked (yeah - cuz our expectation was they would be hockey pucks), the chicken/meat seemed to be fairly fresh (double yeah!) and both actually had some flavor to them. ... And the fries were hot!! And our server was very attentive! The only downside is that they only serve beer (and the first 2 I wanted they were out of!). read more

Service was good. Food was good. Atmosphere is you like speakers blasting one version of Mexican music and the kitchen screaming another version of Mexican music - this place is for you. Was sensory overload! Pick one - not both versions. read more

Good burger and brew. Nice place in Pecos! Had the burger melt. Also tried the Cajun chicken sandwich before and it was good too.

Just meh... service was good. Waitress was prompt with refills but the food was just average bar food.

When you sit at the bar service is constantly below average. There are not many restaurants in Pecos so I come back occasionally but not great service. Food is good and ambiance is not bad for Pecos but service could be better. I entered recently for lunch and was the only person inside. Waiter was on her phone and there was another waiter just standing there. it took them over 15 min to ask me for my food order (and I was the only one at the restaurant). I actually had to wave to them to serve me. This was during opening shift on Friday 10/11. It took them additionally 20 min to prepare food. Mind that entire time I was alone in the restaurant the entire time. So from entering to receiving food was over 30 min If you just passing through Pecos, I would suggest other restaurants Prices are little high and if you pay with credit card they charge you extra 3%. They also typically don't have all the things from the menu so make sure you have 2-3 options in mind before ordering. read more

Our waitress was nice. Only two of them working so they looked tired. We ordered fried mushrooms, not hand battered like it says. But they weren't bad. We each ordered a burger. The food is just okay, the beer was not cold. The service was quick which I appreciate.

One of the better restaurants in Pecos for food. We've gone here a handful of times and the food is always decent. It's not terrible but it's also not knock your socks off - typical "bar" food. We've gotten a beer tower a couple times as well as draft pours but the beer is never icy cold and the Dos XX always tastes a bit off. Service is hit or miss. Usually they are decent but there's been a few times where we've had to flag down the waitress or they have a terrible attitude. The patio is nice, they always have sports on the TVs, and there's usually quite a few people dining during peak meal hours so the atmosphere is great if you're looking for a lively meal. read more

We were passing through for a night and decided to come here despite some of the negative reviews. The place was packed but we found a couple of seats at the bar right away. The guy to the right of us was eating a burger and it looked delicious. I specifically looked at it due to the reviews I had seen on here. It was not burned and he ate the whole thing, so I assume it was good. I got nachos with beef (they were out of the pork). The nachos were delicious and each chip was covered in cheese or toppings. The only thing was that I forgot to say no jalapeños, so I had to scrape them all off to the side because they were pretty hot. (I'm a wimp with spicy). But again, that was entirely my fault. I still ate the whole meal. My husband had the chicken strip platter and had no complaints about it. The beer selection was impressive. The music was a tad loud, but it's a draft house/sports bar, so I wasn't exactly expecting it to be quiet. There were lots of tv's and it's probably a good place to catch a game. Staff was friendly and accurate. read more

I was hopeful for a decent meal but I didn't find that unfortunately. I'll start with the appetizer, we ordered the sampler. The tiny egg rolls are bland and worse than what you find at a fast food place. The fried mushrooms were alright but the ranch is from a bottle and tasted terrible. The most disgusting thing was the spinach artichoke dip. It was by far the worst I've ever had. $20 wasted. The burger was edible but not anything to get excited about. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

In Pecos for work and this is definitely the nicest restaurant in town. Great atmosphere food was good. I got the cheesesteak with fries and my buddy got the pizza. No complaints here we have eaten here multiple times, again best food in pecos in my opinion. Service was fast and friendly. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are talking about for this restaurant we have eat here multiple times with no complaints. read more

The food was ok, especially for bar food. The service is definitely lacking. There were maybe 3 tables and our server was sitting in a booth near us, talking and wrapping silverware. She didn't come to check on us often enough and we had to ask for refills to get any. I'm not familiar with the area but I wouldn't recommend going here with family, just go for drinks, but don't expect great service. read more

Went in after a day trip and was impressed. The place was clean and the music was awesome. I ordered the Javelina Philly and my husband and father in law ordered the street steak tacos. Relaxing Environment with a super polite and Attentive Staff. I didn't try much food, but whaI did have was enjoyable.

$9.50 for chips and salsa? Rung up as spinach and artichoke dip, what a ripoff. Don't go here

The food is bad. I like when someone puts all their pride into their food and takes pride of making delicious food but this place is on another level. We ordered a simple cheeseburger and the bun was burnt the meat was burnt to the crisp and they had the nerve to serve this dish. The fries were over salted the tea did not taste like tea. The only thing that was good was the bud light platinum. It was extremely chilled. Don't bother with the food and don't waste your money here. read more

Great BBQ burger, the strip of brisket on their was nice and fatty! Rolling through town on the way back to San Antonio and saw they were open later which was nice. Great place to watch sports too, lots of Big TVs everywhere. Solid spot!! read more

I came on a slow time and day on purpose; mainly to avoid the crowd of drinkers that would hog this place until past closing time. The staff service was absolutely wonderful; the prices were very reasonable. I tried the calamari, to which, were pretty different. I'm pretty sure baby octopus is something foreign to the kitchen, because they came out like fried onion rings. Comedy aside, the main course of the Cuban burger and fries. The food was delightful to say the least. If you're staying in Pecos, this is definitely a place to visit on your day off, and/or if your favorite sports team is playing that evening. Props to this place for staying strong in the middle of West Texas. read more

Not a mask in sight during COVID. It took a while for the waitress to arrive. Later, a second arrived. They were out of the first beer I ordered (took 5 minutes to tell me). They claimed to have wine but did not know the type of wine. It was not on the menu. They didn't know the guest wifi password. Food took a long time to arrive and waitress didn't check in on us after taking our order. The chicken sandwich had a pretty small piece of chicken. My fish and chips were fine but not spectacular. The ambience was very "sports bar" with music a bit too loud to hear. I would look elsewhere next time. read more
