I've been a weekly client of Danit and 2 Buckets Cleaning for about a year and a half now. I waited to post a review because I didn't want the schedule to be inundated with new clients, but I have to finally post a well-deserved review. The owner, Danit, runs a very tight and efficient operation. She's extremely organized and a great communicator. She's works with me if I request a different cleaning day even if it's pain to change the schedule and provides great services like auto-debited payments and email/text reminders of your next cleaning appt. Danit also keeps detailed notes and cleaning preferences for every client which the girls bring in a notebook to each appt. This is a fantastic system because I don't have to go over them every time a new person shows up. 2 Buckets' service is also punctual and consistent. I've hired cleaners directly in the past and will never do that again. So many appointments were missed or changed due to car problems, sick children, etc., but 2 Buckets has never missed a cleaning. It's wonderful not having to worry about my cleaning schedule anymore. The cleaning team is a professional group of hard-working women. All of the ladies are friendly, personable and cheerfully take any pointers or requests, and more importantly, they do a fantastic job cleaning. They are trained to clean in a systematic way and have a great eye for detail. Danit and her team welcome constructive criticism and a mistake or oversight will never happen twice. I've never hired a better cleaning team than 2 Buckets Cleaning. Pricing is extremely fair for the high level of service. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. read more

Coming from a former employee: Danit was very unprofessional and honestly downright rude. I was told I would be on a sort of "probation" for one month after being hired. It was pretty much a month for training, to get used to the techniques of how they cleaned, get similar with the products and tools, and to gain speed and efficiency. Danit had me do a sort of "test" to see if I was proficient enough to start cleaning on my own after about 2 weeks of training. She had me come to her house and clean her bathroom. I have bad performance anxiety so I ended up not doing the best I could/normally do. We had a chat when I was done and she gave me my cleaning kit, supplies and vaccuum. The very next day while I was shadowing another cleaner at a house, Danit came to the house we were cleaning and asked to see me outside alone. She pretty much told me she didn't think I was a right fit because I wasn't "picking up the pace" fast enough, and then took back all the cleaning supplies she gave me THE DAY BEFORE. Danit did not even allow me the chance to finish my training period before deciding I was not good enough. I was truly excited to start working here and getting my supplies, it takes me a little longer to get used to things than others and I was open about this, I did my best and honestly I don't understand why she fired me. A few months later I found out I have multiple chronic illnesses that make it harder for me to stand upright, bend over, tolerate heat, or do any strenuous exercise. I was pushing myself to my limit to try and make money and I was fired after hurting my body constantly trying to be good enough. Danit even asked me if I had another shirt, since I was wearing the companies brand one. Danit is not a good person, she just pretends to be one. I wanted to put in a quote just to see what the estimate would be for my home hypothetically, and she didn't seem too happy about that, I never got an estimate because it wasn't a "serious" inquire. Also I've heard the prices are ridiculous anyway. Especially with how much we were actually being paid. Shame on you Danit read more

I've been using 2 Buckets for several years and recommend this company. Cleaners keep fairly close to schedule and I'm happy with the cleanliness of my home afterwards. Several months ago our regular technician left the company and our assigned time changed from morning to afternoon. I requested we be moved back to an AM appointment time and Danit said she would when able. Fast forward a few months and we have a morning appointment again and our house was very much cleaned to our satisfaction. read more

I need to agree with other reviewers. 2 Buckets is not professional in both attitude and scheduling. In my case, 2 Buckets was scheduled to come to my home in December and they cancelled at the last minute. They were unpleasant on the phone. Then, in trying to give them a second chance, we rescheduled for early January. When I called to adjust the time by 30 minutes, they said our appointment was never confirmed. But they actually had confirmed it. Again a condescending woman left me a rather unpleasant voicemail telling me they weren't coming and to look elsewhere. They are also the most expensive cleaning service I've found on the market. $60 per person per hour!!!!! That's pretty ridiculous. And they have quite a list of services they don't offer. So with their attitude, history of screwing up bookings and being the most expensive cleaning service I've found on the market, you might want to look elsewhere. read more

Had my first experience with this team today and was very impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. I've got a major thing about making beds to be just right and my family and I were thoroughly impressed to find our cozy beds made in uniformity;) So one of the best things: I arrived wondering if they cleaned my carpets;) The carpets are so clean that I wish I could post a picture of them for reference cause they look AMAZING. My husband is an anal OCD neat freak and his favorite part: They wiped down all the cabinets. But the cherry on top is that the owner was very open to communicating my individual needs to her Team and making sure that my expectations were met. This to me was the company's biggest win. Cleaning another persons home/space is an incredibly personal experience. I don't take letting just anyone into my home lightly. So I'm happy to say that today's cleaning experience overcame some major anxiety I have about people seeing my clutter, and I will certainly be using this team again. read more

We have chosen NOT to continue with this cleaning service. I reached out as a potential new client and was not impressed with the email communication. Not very courteous or thorough in their response and quoted me VERY high for an initial cleaning - $270 for a 1000sq townhouse. The follow up bi-weekly quote was fair, but when I asked for a 3 week schedule and was simply told "we don't do that". I didn't get a good energy, and would not move forward because this is not the way I would want to be spoken to by somebody who comes to my house and whom I would depend on. read more

Like the previous reviewers have stated, the owner is very unprofessional. They are a very expensive service then she sent me a random email saying they're increasing my rate by 40%- $50 per clean. When asked for an explanation of why she was really condescending. Some of the cleaners are wonderful, some not so great. The work is not worth the $50 per hour plus the owner, Denit, thinks they can demand. I just have an issue with someone having you sign a contract and agreement for cleaning then without any communication regarding concerns says they're increasing your cleaning rate significantly in an arrogant and condescending tone. read more

Phenomenal service and quality work from Danit and her crew! My roommate and I had 2 Buckets Cleaning come to do a deep clean of our house while both of us were away for a weekend. They did a deep clean of our three story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath home in Louisville and I can say without a doubt we can't wait to have them back... Which will likely not be for a while because our house is still spotless 2 weeks later. We both came home to an immaculately clean living space. They changed the linens, dusted every nook and cranny, and left us with a feeling of such peace when we returned home very late on a Sunday night. The best part, aside from how sparkling clean everything was, was that it didn't smell like a bottle of 409 exploded in the house. This is a very expensive service; the cost for my cleaning yesterday was about three times what I've paid in the past and what other local friends pay their housecleaners. I was charged over $250 ($220 with a coupon) to "deep clean" PART of my 2500sf house which included cleaning the 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, plus a regular cleaning of my floors. It all seemed comparable to a regular clean rather than the deep clean I expected, and several rooms weren't cleaned (by prior agreement). Overall I've had much better luck with independent cleaners. It might be worth the extra cost to you if you prefer the peace of mind of a company over an individual, but at least you'll know what to expect. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS! So unprofessional and you can get a much better clean for a fraction of the price. THEY ARE THE MOST EXPENSIVE SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. They came to my house this week and did an okay job. Honestly I would have been satisfied with it if it had taken them like two house. But no it took them FIVE hours between two girl to clean my relatively small house (2400 square ft) and to top it off we had already done a really thorough clean before hand. So it should have taken them 3 hours tops. Buy we got charged for 7.5 hours which ended up being 450$!!! That's crazy expensive. My parents house is 6000 square feet and gets cleaned for 150$. It took them so long because they were gossiping and standing around. My roommate even heard them say "we could probably just vacuum and it'd be fine" about one of the rooms they were suppose to do a DEEP clean on. I called the owner about being unsatisfied. They did come to my house and fix what I wasn't satisfied with and even credited me an hour of the time back which if that was the end of it I would be giving them four starts, BUT THE COSTUMER SERICE WAS THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL COSTUMER SERICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I called the place and when I was trying to explain myself the women (I'm assuming the owner) kept cutting me off not even letting me finish my sentences, accused me of lying about what had happened, told me my house was probably so messy because we're sorority girls (a rude assumption), and used such a disrespectful tone with me. I have never felt more disrespected in my life. It was obvious this women had no interest in hearing me out and just wanted to get defensive and rude with me. In my opinion (having worked many service jobs) if a costumer has a complaint you hear them out and fix it in a way that is fair to both parties. The disrespect this women gave me was neither fair or called for in the slightest. I had a move out cleaning scheduled with them, confirmed through a phone conversation and email. Things started out great -- lovely conversation with Lori. However, fast forward to day of: I waited outside the house for 30 minutes, left a voicemail and email, and noticed that a refund of my deposit had been processed -- but no other communication. I called again 20 minutes later, and got the owner, who said there had been an "emergency" and that she had left me a voicemail. I have no record of a call or a voicemail -- and I work from home, so I'm constantly on my phone. In addition, there was no email, though that had been our primary mode of communication. I wasted an hour of time waiting, and am now in a bind as I leave on a business trip tomorrow. The owner could not even provide recommendations, just said that "other cleaning services will be busy." I am sympathetic if there was in fact an emergency, but I'm shocked that a company wouldn't use every mode of communication to get in touch in such a situation. I suppose I should be grateful that they managed to refund my deposit -- but they've entirely lost my trust and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more
