I've been satisfied with both the quality of the cleaning and Ivan's customer service thus far. I had a billing issue, but Ivan quickly straightened it out. He is typically very quick to respond whenever I email him about scheduling, requests, etc. We've had two different crews at our home for cleaning. Both crews have done a great job and have been a pleasure to have in our home. I do recommend communicating any specific cleaning requests to your crew and not just to Ivan as we've had better luck with our requests going that route. Depending on the cleaner you're speaking to you may need to learn a word or two of Spanish! Also note that the billing model is informal and approximate in nature. In other words, the hourly rate may be used as a proxy for the price of the first cleaning, but after that you are just charged the exact same amount regardless of time spent on that cleaning (as a result of cleaning modifications, preexisting condition (super clean or super dirty), etc. read more

We had a HUGE cleaning job for them, in preparation for renting out our house for several months. Their estimate was for an hourly rate, with a minimum charge, and it was very detailed. Two cleaners came on a Saturday. They extended their work a couple of times in order to get it done on that day, each time texting me for permission to continue. They stayed beyond the maximum time in the estimate. They charged an hourly rate of $70 for this "deep residential cleaning." They accomplished all the things the estimate promised. read more

Really disappointed with the service here. Save time and money and book somewhere else. Scheduled appointment with Ivan over email, confirmed, gave credit card info. Day of, they no call no showed. I called and emailed Ivan, he called me a few hours later offering no explanation, just saying we could reschedule. I asked for a discount and he seemed shocked by that, despite a mistake being made on his end. A discount was agreed upon and we rescheduled for next day. Next day, crew was 45 minutes late and did not try to get into unit before calling saying they couldn't get in. Unit was unlocked. Cleaners missed a number of spots dusting, and kitchen appliances were moderately cleaned. I wasn't charged for two weeks, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. You sugar cote how inept a job Rocky Mountain Cleaning company performed. When you refer to "touching up" there is a list of duties that were the bare minimum and your company failed to do like mopping a kitchen floor; which would require picking up the area rug... come on. Oh and as for BBB you have already had a claim against you in the last 6 months aside of mine as well as very few reviews so it's not hard to keep the rating. It just keeps getting worse and worse with this company. Look for another company. Ivan promised me 4 or 5 times over the course of 14 months that he had sent or would send the money he owed me. I finally had to yell to truly get his attention and he couldn't understand why I yelled-clueless. I used them 3 times and I had to supervise their cleaners to get things done as expected and even then the work was just barely satisfactory. When my schedule got busier, I finally went looking for a local, family-owned business that would provide top-notch service. We found Rocky Mountain Cleaning and have never looked back! The office staff is very responsive, and the cleaning crew does fabulous work! We've used RM Cleaning since September 2011, and I couldn't be happier. Ivan has been great to work with to schedule our cleanings, and I really like that the cleaning team is always the same--they're familiar with our house and know our preferences. Also, we have two little dogs, so at my request, RM Cleaning uses natural cleaners that won't harm them. A bonus is that when the team arrives, they take a few minutes to greet our dogs which sets them at ease! After each cleaning, Ivan emails me to ask if the cleaning was done to my satisfaction. It almost always is, and if it isn't (which doesn't happen often), he lets the team know to pay extra attention the next time. I appreciate the convenience that office personnel provides in scheduling. The cleaning crew always does a very thorough cleaning. My condo was clean, neat and fresh when I returned after your service. All dishes were washed and put away. The linens were cleaned and folded and placed in the linen closet. The floors were clean, and the fans, blinds, and furniture were dusted. The bathrooms was clean and sanitary and the mirror was clear and clean. I have had Rocky Mountain Cleaners come to do a deep clean on my townhouse twice so far, and I have to say they are the best cleaning service I have ever used. Ivan is responsive when scheduling appointments and communicating what you want from your cleaning, the crew is always on time, polite and their service is very reasonably priced. Home advisor recommended Rocky Mtn for dryer vent cleaning. Made appt of Sat between 3-6. Got call at 3:30 he was on the way. Got call 4:00 he had to take care of something and had to reschedule for Monday. He came on Monday at noon. The bill was already made out for $199.00 when he walked in the door. I was told it would be $89 to $199 depending on the length on the vent. He wheeled in vacuum without putting any floor covering on my rug. He left the screen door open as well as the door so my indoor cat ran out. He unplug medical monitors to plug in his vacuum. He wore is earplugs the whole time. Annoyed he had to take them out to hear and answer my questions. Only vacuumed from the inside vent, only brushed the vent from the outside. I asked for 10% discount for my inconvenience of him not being able too make it on Saturday and he said no. I would not recommend Rocky Mtn or Home Adviser for any project. He was here for exactly 22 minutes from the time he walked in the door and walked out. Very disappointed with service. read more

I rarely write a review. But the work this cleaning company did was so terrible, I felt compelled to write a review. The floors were still dirty after the cleaning. The toilet bowl was not clean. The bathroom sink was not fully cleaned. I pointed out several things that were clearly obvious such as the unclean toilet bowl and stains/residue on the floor. I got a response that these are hard to clean. I demonstrated within 5 seconds that they can be removed and cleaned. I was in the process of demonstrating the toilet can be cleaned. I have worked with close to 10 cleaning companies over the years (mostly as I have relocated) and this was by far the worst job I have ever seen. I tried to book Rocky Mountain Cleaning Co... talked to Ivan. He said he had the date available... which was short notice because I had tried contacting other cleaning companies to no avail... I was happy he could take on the job. We talked about my condo. Ivan asked me to fill out an online profile... which when I go to do, I find requests your credit card info. After I filled out the profile (then feeling uncomfortable), I looked at the Yelp reviews which were unfavorable and called Ivan saying we needed to talk. I got an email from Ivan saying they did not have the day available (I booked & gave my credit card info like 3 hours after talking with Ivan) and that he could do the day before which didn't work with the renov schedule of my contractor. When I said the other date didn't work, I also asked Ivan to clear my credit card information from their system. I lost more time on the finding a cleaner front and had to do the move-in clean of my new home myself. While I don't know that this was a bait & switch for sure, it felt like it was... So listen to the reviews and your guts, my friends. read more
