It doesn't take long to realize that Art is a super friendly and outgoing guy who has so much passion for and pride in what he does. He truly is an artist and it's really fun watching him work. He knows his craft very well, is up to date with all sorts of crazy techniques, and has an eye for detail. Starting with the consultation, Art takes the time to listen and understand what you are looking for. He really helped guide me through the process of figuring out exactly what I wanted and what would look best with my hair color. Art did an amazing job with the coloring process. The color and highlights are so natural and blended so well; this isn't easy with Asian hair. Best yet, the color is low maintenance and will grow out very nicely without requiring root touch ups or frequent visits to the salon (don't got time for that). I had specifically requested low upkeep and he accomplished that and combined it with the look I wanted. I was just as happy with the haircut. He used a combination of techniques, some I had never seen before, to create long layers that brought out the highlights. Unlike other salon experiences where I had to point out certain areas that look weird after the haircut was complete, Art fixed everything without a word and did such a great job I had no complaints. As far as the logistics go, it's super easy to book an appointment. Call or book one online. From start to finish, the whole process took 3 hours, but it felt more like 30 minutes. I am so happy with the outcome and the experience as a whole and can't recommend Art enough. Get your hair did with Art (snag a Groupon if available) and you won't be disappointed.
