I looked at the reviews and was impressed by their experiences so I decided to make an appointment. Scheduling was very easy and I was able to get an appointment rather quickly. Jennifer the receptionist and tech was very friendly and knowledgeable she was able to answer all questions that I had. Dr. Douglas was awesome he was very detailed and explained everything to me, didn't feel rushed at all very professional and personable. They have a very nice selection of eyewear and I was very pleased from beginning to end.

I came to him with what I thought was a severe case of conjunctivitis with blurred vision, and he quickly diagnosed an injury to the epithelium of my eye. He gave me instructions on care and three days later, my eye feels amazing. I had also ran out of contacts and it wasn't an issue getting me an appointment later that week for a fitting. Quick and very understanding. It's clean. His front desk staff were courteous and very helpful in tracking down what my insurance covered and my deductible. Selecting the right glasses was also a breeze and the optician who helped me was very friendly but I have one complaint, and that is you all need to at least inform me when you are experiencing a delay or issue with my eyeglasses. I had to have someone on my behalf contact you all as I was unable to contact them myself. And please try to provide an estimated time in a timely manner because it has been over three weeks since I had placed my order... I really need my glasses soon. All I ask is for better communication between you all, the lab that makes the glasses, and me, the patient. Thank you. Edit-- I received an update on the glasses and it turned out that there was an issue with the anti glare coating not passing inspection, which is completely understandable. After all, they need to make sure everything is up to par. I'm glad they took that extra step to make sure my glasses would be not only up to my standards but up to theirs. I had an appointment scheduled at 5, and I was coming from work across town. As you know in Houston, traffic is terrible at this time. I was called by the office and told if I was not there in 5 minutes, that they would reschedule me. There is a 15 minute grace period, and I was signing in at 5:14. By the time the lady acknowledged me she said I would have to reschedule because it was 5:16. The energy the doctor gave me was that she was ready to leave or I had to pay to make her stay. In all my years of being a customer here I have never experienced this. I understand the importance of being on time, but life happens and there are policies in place. If you say there is a 15 minute grace period, you should honor that.

I appreciated that as I could see they were not taking any risks. The staff was very patient and kind to my daughter who is pretty hyper. The doctors were also very patient and both doctors met with my kid because of her condition. I felt like they really cared and were genuinely good doctors who didn't rush us out the door. Also, we were not rushed or pressured to get all the add ons for the lenses. It was more of an option and they had exactly what insurance would cover and how much so I could make a decision. The glasses will be done in 5-10 business days. I did ask if we could try to rush it and they said they would definitely try.
