This little shop has all the essentials from dog food and leashes to toys and rain jackets. Now, would I of come in on my own, no. But boy am I glad I ended up here thanks to the great selection of Canada Pooch products and that's a brand I absolutely love! After much (absolutely no) thinking, I absolutely had to buy the black and grey Canada Pooch Fanny pack (or as I pretend they are, crossbody bags) and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Overall, what happens when you mix great products, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff? You get a good pet store and that's exactly what Pet Mama is. I apologize for judging the name!

From what I've seen, their brushes/harnesses are in the average price range for downtown. I have never had any issues with the staff. I go in, and say hi and if I have my Samoyed (who howls from across the street with anticipation to see them) they always ask to give her a treat. If I have any questions, they always answer them to the best of their knowledge and aren't pushy to sell anything. Yes, one of the employees is more on the quiet side, but that doesn't equal unfriendly, he simply just doesn't talk your ear off with product knowledge like some other stores do. I live really close, so yes, it is convenient for me to walk but they do offer a delivery service for (I think) $5 extra, which for many people is definitely worth while. They carry mostly the healthier foods (at least for dogs) and most of your average accessories. The store is small but well stocked and organized and if they don't have something you need, they have no issues ordering it in for you. I cannot speak on behalf of cat owners, but as for dog owners I definitely recommend the store and hope you give them a proper chance!
