I've been to 18 Grams several times for coffee, but this was my first time going to this Mong Kok branch and for food. Although their coffee is above average, their food is just a-ok. They did have a lunch menu which offered a choice between soup or salad, main course, and a drink (tea or coffee). Trying to look for something that was a little lighter on the carbs, I went with the smoked duck quesadillas. I asked for my salad with no dressing and the server looked at me like I was crazy and questioned it several times. I was pretty disappointed with my quesadilla since it had no cheese at all. The only things in it were the smoked duck, hoisin sauce and some cucumber. The quesadilla came with a side of salad and some potato wedges. For a $90ish lunch set I should be more full afterwards.
My recommendation is to skip lunch here and just stick to their coffee. read more
