The wings are crispy and medium sized... not small and boney but also not ridiculously big. Cooked perfect. I do wish they tossed them in sauce instead of pouring it on top, but at least they are generous with the sauce. Wing prices are great! $7.50 for 6 and $13.25 for 12. Always daily specials with things like fish sandwiches and such. I tried the gyro last time I was in and it was a lot of food and very good. Some nights there is a security guard in there who seems to be checking IDs and I guess handling any situations. I've never seen it needed in there, but I'm sure he's there for a reason and it's nice they invest in him so it does not fall on the bartenders. They have a video juke box to keep things lively on nights there isn't a band. Mens room is predictably awful for a dive bar and smells like piss. There's a patio out back and out front, if you want to get outside for a smoke or fresh air.

They have an arrangement of beers with local Maryland beers on Tap. As I've said in my previous short post, they do a sunset toast for everyone sitting at the bar. This has ranged from a toast of a special cocktail to a toast of a special shot of soup. It's pretty fun and it gets everyone at the bar talking. I won't lie, the food at the Kitchen when they first opened was okay. The Head Chef, Roshaad, has really made the meals fantastic. Just the other night, a woman to my right was saying how delicious the burger was. I frequently enjoy the wings while I'm watching the game. Their flatbreads are fantastic and their Chicken Sandwich is super tasty! I really can't explain why on the first night both beers tasted bad, perhaps they need to clean the tap or something hence the once star deduction. On the last night here, I had the Irish Spice Bag, this is described on the menu as a popular takeout dish in Ireland. It was full of spice and in a bag for sure and once shaken and poured out it had a lot of flavor (the fries and chicken) be forewarned though definitely not low sodium. My girlfriend ordered the Shepherd's pie twice. We both noticed the inside meat under the potatoes was extremely dark in color. Not sure why that was but it was full of a deep distinct flavor of mouthwatering meaty deliciousness. Not a light dish by any means however a quality example of Shepherd's Pie.
