    Linguini shrimp
    Kyle V.

Perfectly average. Menu is average and they rely on a lot of frozen food. We had the Warm Goat Cheese salad with salmon and you could tell the salmon was pre frozen. I had the linguini shrimp and it was swimming in oil. Good flavor, but way too oily. My beer was only a little cold, as if the keg was put in the fridge only 2 hours before. It's a perfect place for a few single guys to meet up and catch up over food or beer. This is not a date night place. Wait staff are all college students. We wanted to go to the pub downstairs but they said it was closed and they only open when it's rainy or cold. But the website made it seem like they are open every day. Would not recommend. There are so many other good places in Annapolis.

This place had so much potential! We walked by and heard love music playing so stopped in to grab a drink and bite on the outdoor patio. Ambiance with soft lantern lighting was lovely, but unfortunately the bright security spotlight shining down from the tree in the center of the patio really killed the mood! The menu was so incredibly varied...everything from regular pub food to Indian chicken tikka to Mediterranean mezze plate...they should stick with one food theme and shorten the menu. The bright note was the cocktail menu. We really enjoyed the Ruby Slipper (which was made with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice) and the Proper Margarita (with Gran Marnier and fresh lemon and lime juice instead of sour mix).

We stumbled upon this placing walking around downtown Annapolis. They had a sign out front indicating the fireplace was on in the pub. It was very cold outside so we figured we'd go have a drink by the fireplace. We sat in the downstairs/basement pub area. The building is very old and has a lot of history. We read up on it while waiting for our drinks. The downstairs pub area was very cozy. I had the Ruby Slipper (a grapefruit based cocktail) which was good, but I preferred my husbands cocktail, the Lemon Stinger (it's made with ghost pepper). I liked it so much I ordered my own. If you like spice/heat, I definitely recommend trying that cocktail. We didn't eat so I can't speak for the food. Our server was friendly and the drinks arrived quickly.

Very atmospheric space where you dine by candlelight and can sit next to the fire in the working fireplace. I made a meal out of the Founding Father's Bacon Mac and the Baked Tomato Soup. Both were delicious. A charming experience that I won't soon forget!

The outdoor menu is the same as the delicious menu indoor menu. They just can't do a full tea service.

We sat outside at the 1747 Pub for after-dinner drinks and loved it. The back patio and bar are beautiful, and the live music added a great vibe. The bartender was awesome, and the beer selection was excellent. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

I've been here many times before but never really thought about writing a review. This is my go to bar whenever I'm in Annapolis for a good drink. I normally order the 1747 pub punch which tastes like a typical Caribbean rum punch and pretty friggin good or something good on tap. I normally come here for the ambience and to catch up with friends. I've never had any of the House specialities but tend to fill up on the starters and small plates. My favorites are the founding fathers bacon mac and the truffle fries. The bacon Mac is which is a lovely cheesy baconny concoction. Yeah I'm a huge cheese and truffle fries. During winter there is a real fire in the fireplace making it a nice cozy underground den and in summer the outdoor beer garden is generally open and in full swing. There is live music here a few evenings a week and other happy hour specials throughout the week.

Came here after a disappointing first go down at O'Brien's and this place did not disappoint! Had some drinks and both the Warm Goat Cheese and Mediterranean salads were on point! Great courtyard, cutely decorated that we enjoyed on a fantastic live music night. Come here! Historic and charming with great food and service!

We ended up here because we were searching yelp reviews for bars with fireplaces while we were being frozen from the open doors at Baroak in the Loews hotel. The reviews were good so we left and came here to finish watching the Navy game. It's located down some stairs in an old building and has a really cool vibe...almost dungeon like. This location was already much warmer and when we asked about the fireplace the bartender explained they only turn it on in the winter when it's really cold because otherwise it would be a furnace in there. Makes sense! We were greeted immediately and served on the spot. Heck we felt like royalty compared to Baroak...plus we got to watch the Navy's victory in a much better venue. Their truffle fries were pretty tasty too.

This place was fun. They had a great selection of drinks and the old time fireplace was pretty neat. It's extremely laid back.

It always has fresh seasonal toppings, add your protein of choice (fresh fish of the day?) and it is the best salad in town. ABOUT THE AMBIANCE…read more Love the consistent, lively vibe at this Eastport restaurant/bar - seven days a week, it is sure to be clamoring with locals who pull-up by kayak and dingy (a 100-yd walk for the neighborhood dock) or walk in from homes nearby. Davis' is both people and dog friendly, allowing both species to chat it up, socialize and refuel. The outside sports a dozen a so picnic-style tables and a few high tops that bleed into the street. Shade is omnipresent once seated and servers kindly offer up water for your four-legged friends. There's a cozy park with seating just across the street from the hostess stand for those eagerly awaiting a table, right by the community dock. The inside of Davis' Pub is distinctly "bar" - replete with TVs and high tops - though there's a surprisingly large area for table service beyond the often-crowded bar. Don't expect anything slick or shiny here -- a fresh coat of paint may be tough to find. This is an authentic, worn Eastport treasure -- some use it as their comfortable watering hole, others for a cozy meal and a large swath to gather with friends.

When I asked if they had burgers, he tapped the menu and said, "We are a pizza spot!!!" which immediately set the tone. We decided to stay anyway, but things didn't improve. My husband ordered the braised short ribs, not realizing it came with a spicy sauce. When we brought it up, Bobby told us if it was remade, we'd be charged for both orders. No effort to check with the kitchen or involve a manager -- just a flat no. Then my husband ordered an Old Forester 1924, but was given the 1920 instead. The 1924 is highly allocated and hard to find. when he saw they had it, he really wanted to taste it. When we pointed it out, Bobby just said, "Oh, okay," and never corrected the drink or offered a solution. The only bright spot was the bartender, who was friendly and offered him a taste of the 1924; that was the only moment of good service all night. Really disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. 1 star only because of the bartender.

Visited with a bunch of guys after touring the Naval Academy campus...a short walk from the campus, it's a great Irish pub with a great ambiance and selection of Irish beer on tap (Guinness, Harp, Smithwick, Kilkenny) as well as the usual American brand. In addition, it houses a great selection of whiskeys: Irish (Bushmills, Jamesons, Red Breast, etc. - the different varieties), bourbons (to include Pappy's, Blanton), scotch (MacAllans), etc. The dining experience pairs well with the beer and whiskeys. The meat for the reuben sandwich and traditional corned beef are selected and prepared in a traditional manner making it delicious. If you are lucky, you will meet the owner of the establishment, who will regale you with stories about past Academy graduates who would return to the pub after graduation or even about his playing in a rock & roll band. Great food, beer, whiskey, atmosphere, and if lucky, great stories and an experience. When visiting the Naval Academy, take a yonder down the street, you won't regret the visit.
