Everything they will not tell you before your first day/orientation:…read more -orientation is completely unpaid, you will not make any money until you make a Verizon Fios sale going door to door knocking and asking people to sign up. If you want to take a bathroom break while walking around for the 10 hrs on shift they recommend you ask one of the people whose doors you're knocking to use their bathroom. they drop you off in one of their vans in a location in Maryland and you walk around for hours with no access to a bathroom essentially. -they say that you'll be working five weekdays Mon-Fri 8am-7pm and Sat but they'll expect you to be there until 9pm every night to "discuss how the day went" -you only get paid if you make a "sale" and the owner takes half off the commission. essentially you're working for free walking around for 12 hours a day and you only get paid if you can convince some elderly person to sign up for Fios. -they sell a commission and bonus structure that realistically will take you weeks to receive your first check. i linked the pay scale in the drop box, most people that showed up to the orientation were gone by the first week. -i was being trained as an office assistant and was offered a salary working 8-5 Monday-Friday with a 40 min break for 500$ a week (Pre-tax) which averages to $12.19/hour which is $2.80 beneath the Maryland minimum wage. After having me train with another personal assistant for a couple days, the owner ghosted me and I was never paid for any of the time I spent at Serene Marketing. Beware. Link to Serene's pay scale and the below minimum wage contract: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/m6rjs0bg027hn1pbuu08n/AMcSj-6HQsAuyZuDMLfKw4M?rlkey=8hkvn7p2juy8a4zv8j3apq2j9&st=ak7do2ao&dl=0 Pros A lot of the people working there were really sweet, nice environment for POC (if you're okay with commission only pay and unpaid orientation) Cons Long hours, no access to a bathroom, no pay unless you make a sale, owner drives a Tesla and tried to pay me $12/hour.

The Buchanan Group helped to create a planning and engagement strategy, through a series of…read morefacilitated discussions for my nonprofit. Once we had agreed upon our messaging, approach, and implementation we were able to bring in the people who are responsible for day-to-day communications whether it be developing and managing social media, and other outreach activities so that this could be presented to those who fund the program, as well as implement engaging strategies on a day-to-day basis. The benefits are that the Buchanan group is able to tailor both the facilitation and expert recommendations so that we have our very own plans, strategy, and processes so that communications can be fully managed in-house. The staff also provided special training for those who may be in particular roles whether they speak to the media, or managing social media on a day-to-day basis. This substantially lowered our costs and increased greater efficacy and impact.

However, just minutes before our scheduled call -- which I had confirmed, cleared time for, and was already on -- I received a last-minute cancellation without any rescheduling offer. As a creator and founder actively investing in meaningful, cinematic work, I value professionalism and clear communication just as much as creative talent. Unfortunately, this experience didn't reflect the level of care or respect I expect from a potential creative partner. I hope the team at CineSalon reconsiders how they manage first impressions. Timing and trust matter.

Outstanding service and top-notch quality!!…read more As a repeat customer (since 2019), I'm always glad to collaborate with Darren. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. I've ordered custom T-Shirts and hooded sweatshirts, with complex designs, and I have always been pleased with the end product. Darren's dedication stands out, as he takes the time to understand customer needs, provides guidance & mock-ups, and ensures the end result is nothing short of perfection. The quality of the T-shirts is excellent, and they've consistently met my expectations. I'd suggest arranging a pick-up if you can because delivery sometimes presents a few hiccups (due to the external contractor they use). However, there is no extra cost for delivery and it gets done - so that's no biggie. I highly recommend Planet of the Inks for anyone seeking quality products, reasonable pricing, and great service. Thanks, Darren! **Bonus: This is a small, Black-owned business

So I called Next Day Signs and spoke with Allen on July 2nd about getting a car magnet made for a July 5th (Sunday) parade. I am very appreciative and highly recommend his services over anyone else. Products can be made by anyone but the execution and service is what separates Next Day Signs over the others.
