Ari and Nash are amazing! My son enjoys getting his haircut here. Nice casual barbershop. 10/10 would recommend

These guys are consistently good. They run a good shop, they're friendly, like talking sport, cars, and life in general. Ash and his team have earned my repeat business for the past year, and I see no reason to change. Thanks, guys! read more

Came here for the 1st time and Ash did not disappoint. My hair cut is exactly what I needed. Will be back again and again.

Ash is a great guy and he's a consistent barber. When he's not available, his son fills in well for him.

just now Sarah provided me a first-class barber experience from her easy-going personable air to the quick and expert way she cut my hair. Truly talented barbers are hard to find in town so I'm glad that I discovered her on a whim. read more

Our go-to for men's cuts and pampering. Stan and staff are craftsmen with their scissors and clippers. Fades and cuts are well done. It feels like a man's shop yet still comfy for the ladies. FYI there's a nail shop next door if that suits you better while waiting. The wait is rarely very long if at all. We usually come on Sundays. My son has funky swirls that require certain care and are always well cut here. Not all barbers are able to take care of my men like 12st Barbers. Always feels like family here and we're sure to come back for many years to come. Thanks 12st Street Barbers. read more

Went in a few months ago because I was tired of the barber I was using couldn't cut my hair the same way twice-I stopped in and Ron took care of me-was happy with the cut so I went back and Ron did a good job again-this last time Ron was gone so Ash cut my hair and it was damn near perfect how I wanted it-he was accommodating as I am really picky about my hair-I found my new place and if you are wanting a real down to earth barber this is your new place read more

This place is a great classic barber shop. I go to Stan - he is simply the best! My cut is consistently great every time. I just moved to Phoenix and I am so glad to have found such a reliable place. Always trust a barber from New York :) read more

So Ive had my hair cut by Stan, Tony, and the dude who has the middle chair. And all three are awesome, if you want a good conversation while watching Matlock then go to Tony, if you want a good haircut, while keeping quiet go to the middle chair guy, if you want an awesome haircut, your iPhone screen fixed and a legit barber hit up Stan read more

Ask for Stan. He's speedy without being at all sloppy, and he pays great attention to detail. He'll ask you what you want and stop before it's too late to make sure things are going the way you want them to go. Best time to get a haircut is late morning or around 4pm Monday- Thursday. Hardly ever a wait at those times. Friendly service and they take plastic. read more

I've been going here for about a year now. I travel so I'm usually in another state and very rarely get a worthy haircut outside of this place. I usually come back, head in hands and ask politely if they'll PLEASE fix my bird's nest. Stan always obliges and does a great job. Great atmosphere, tv's, drinks and a great haircut at a great price. What more can I say. Try them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

This place is very friendly and feels like home. They do a very good job in women also cuts and shaves. I got an undercut and my ears pierced, both look very beautiful! On top of the great quality the price was very low! read more

Alex is my go to barber he's amazing at turning my ideas and pictures into reality he's an extremely knowable barber. I decided to cut my hair for the first time after years of growing it down my back at 12 street barber shop after reading there "You name it we do it." text on the window and I've never been disappointed (very friendly staff) read more

This place was amazing! Stan made both my husband and son look so handsome, all of us were very impressed! Definitely ask for Stan, he's the best! read more

Detailed professionals. Treat customers like family. Hospitality and respect and fresh cut. I found my barbers!

Clean fades every time and great prices. I went to a different barber and got the worst haircut I've ever gotten. Two days later I come down to 12th street barbers and they got me right for only $18!! read more

Can always count on a top notch cut for my kids and I here. Been coming here the past year or so, but once made the mistake of popping into a different shop because I was in a pinch for some reason. The difference was totally obvious and we won't be allowing that to happen again! read more

I am a huge fan. I get my hair cut here every 3-4 weeks. I get the full shave treatment plus a haircut. It is nice, clean, TV's are always on stations I like, not alot of kids go in there to socialize and in general a really nice barbershop. I love getting the actual straight razor treatment. Not expensive at all and the longest I have ever waited was 15 minutes. They guys are friendly to chat with and no pressure. This is the only barber I go to and I live about 5 miles away. It is worth the drive to stay at the place I enjoy. read more

Do not bring your kids here! Butcher! Their website advertises that they "do it all"... haircuts and ear piercings, I should have known better. Nonetheless, I figured I'd give our local barber a try for my 4 year old son's haircut. After all, how hard is it to cut a 4 year old's hair? The shop is a decent looking barber shop. When we walk in there is a war movie on the tv. I ask if they mind if I change the channel, or better yet turn the tv off. Barber looks confused but says ok. My son has medium-long hair and the barber asks what we want to do with it. I respond to "take a little off and clean it up". He points to a generic barber shop poster and says "like picture number 8"? All 15 of the "options" that this shop apparently can do are very short. I said "no, can you just take a little off and straighten it out"? The barber says "like 1/2 inch", to which I responded was great. My son sat absolutely still and quiet (both firsts for him). Meanwhile, the guy tugged at his hair. The guy then proceeded to take about 1.5" inch off, and left the back jagged and the bangs at a diagonal angle. He asked me to look and see what I thought. As I circled to the other side of my son, I was horrified as I noticed about a 1 cm gash. I asked the guy if he cut him and he said "oh my, I must have". So now my kid has butchered hair and a scar to show for our visit to 12th Street Barbers. Hey, at least they gave him a lollipop. I suggest you avoid this place, particularly if you have kids. I have never posted a negative review on Yelp! This was horrendous and because my child was injured, I wanted to warn others. read more

After moving back to Phoenix over 2 years ago, and after having four failed attempts to find a regular barber shop I found 12th Street Barbers and have been coming here since. Stan does such a good job at such a great price, I can't give less than 5 stars. I'm getting better customer service and saving money. This beats the terrible haircuts and services I've gotten at other shops in the valley. They also have a great atmosphere as well. The shaving and hair products are all great, top of the line type stuff. They truly understand what customer service is all about, they definitely make you feel welcome, the shop is clean, and the guys are fun to shoot the shit with. Don't forget to ask for Stan. read more

Ok!!! I've been in AZ, awhile. I've been in plenty of Barber Shops, but this one takes the # 1 on my list. Some barber shops don't want to cut female hair, so it's hard to keep trying to find a good Barber, that actually knows about customer service, which other places lack of. Stan, wow he's amazing, he had a great sense of how to make a new customer feel welcome. In addition to be courteous, he can cut hair... And good. I'm puertorican so I need someone to understand the curls, and he did an amazing job with my hair. I will be coming to this Barber Shop, to Stan from now on. read more

Went in here after searching for good ratings on nearby barbers. I saw a buddy gave this place a good review so I decided "why not?" I am very glad I did. I went in on a Saturday before I had to get engagement photos done. I walked in and was greeted immediately and warmly. I was seated right away and I was asked what was to be done. I have a spin on a common hair style, so I explained it. The older gentleman with glasses listened and made sure he understood correctly. He quickly went to work and asked as we went to make sure I was ok with the progress (such as where to begin the fade). Once he finished up, I got the classic straight razor and warm towel treatment. The decor was warm and inviting to me. The only thing I found could be an issue is he took his time for my cut. to me, 20-30 minutes for a GOOD hair cut is totally acceptable but nowadays a lot of people want it done super fast. It may have been just me but it took some time but nothing I found terribly long. Can't rush quality! I am definitely going back in a week or two when it is time for my trim and touch up! Next time I may even get their warm shave that they also offer! read more

Either I went to the wrong guy or something. All I asked for was a fade and to leave the top and he confirmed that he heard me and started to cut all the hair off the side. Not only that it was a horrible line up that I had to fix when I got home. The best part is when I told him to fix something he seem to get irritated. I had a better cut at super cuts. I still struggle to find a barber in Phoenix that knows how to cut black hair. read more

These guys are very professional and they treat you well. I'm pretty picky about people cutting my hair but I can relax at this place.

Ask for Stan. Been going to get my hair cut here for ye past 2 years now. Stan is very consistent and he doesn't let you go until you are satisfied. This is a real classic New York style barber shop. I like the grumpy old guy that works there too. He add "flavor" to the shop read more

Avoid this place. I was Overcharged for a sub-par haircut and will not ever return.

I've been a loyal customer at 12th Street Barbers for almost 4 years now, and each time I am more impressed with the haircut, their attention to detail, and their customer service. I travel a lot for work, yet wait for the opportunity to come by and get my cut. Pricing is up to par with everyone else in that 5 mile range, and you won't have to wait long till your on the seat. Stan & Tony will go out of their way to make sure you get your money's worth! Check them out and experience it yourself! read more

Ask for Stan. This guy is an awesome barber. Very good at what he does. The one time I went to someone else I was not nearly as happy with my hair. I go here every 2 weeks even though it takes me 30 minutes to drive there. The hair cuts are worth the price in this classic looking barbershop. read more
