I have never been satisfied with a barber enough to be loyal to one shop until I went to Beardsmith and Barber. I was skeptical when I walked in and Marco was the only one available. There I was thinking this baby face kids gonna fuck my beard up. I was in a spot and had no other place to go so I said the hell with it. Although Marcos is young and relatively new in barbering he really took his time with a fine attention to detail. In the end it was the best haircut/beard trim I'd had in a long time. So I came back for another trim a couple months later. This time Marcos was busy but Zach had a chair. Zach the older of the two has refined his craft and has the gift of gab. Easy to talk to and efficient with his/your time. And another one of the best haircuts and beard trims I've had. Both these men are professionals and you can trust them to clean you up good. Marco and Zach are great at what they do and their work shows it. I have been coming to Beardsmith and Barber since they opened and I have never had a complaint since. They give great attention to detail and really question what you are asking for before starting. From haircut to bread trim or shave, they get it right every time! When I leave that chair, I'm looking so fresh and clean. Highly recommend getting you cut and bread trim here, they will get it done right and in a timely manner where you are not feeling rushed. Ive been on a hunt for a good barber I recently moved to North Scottsdale from Tempe, I used to have a regular barber who would cut my sons hair but moved away. So for the last month my son had his hair cut done by barbers who didn't do his hair right. Finally I was referred from a coworker who went to this barbershop. He recommended Zach, I came in and was amazed and happy with the hair cut my son received. The barber Zach was very professional and efficient. He was detailed in cut and listened to every instruction. I now have someone who I know will cut my sons hair right. I will most definitely be going back to this barbershop for my sons hair cuts. Beardsmith is great barber shop. It is not a very big location but that is what makes better, it is very comfortable and welcoming environment. There is not a bunch of noise or people talking loudly from across the room. Steve is my preferred barber, he has cut my hair for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. He takes great pride in his work, cutting with precision and efficiency. Needed a beard trim and I called this morning and they were able to get me in at 2. I have to say Miguel definitely took care of my beard and cleaned it up nice and shaped it better than I imagined. I had Nash trim my beard and cut dad's hair and beard. Dad has advanced dementia and Parkinson's, and Nash took his time with him, explaining everything he was going to do before he did it.
