We had two guys come out on Saturday before the move.. LT and another guy (sorry I forgot his name) and they were both super efficient, respectful, and organized. When our move came on Monday, Quan and his crew showed up on time, had great communication, were very patient while we finished packing what hadn't gotten packed, also very fast and efficient as well. Quan drove our stuff down that same day and we were able to get our stuff the next day. He was eager to unload the truck himself even though he didn't have a partner to help him offload... in which my husband offered to help him. 10/10 recommend this company to anyone looking to move.

They offered me the second slot of the day and took all of my information for a 1 PM move. On Saturday, Kevin called around 10:30 to let me know his first job was bigger than expected and that they were running a little behind. He called again with an update around noon. I underestimated the amount of boxes in my house, and they were really good at working with me to get as much as they could on the truck to make sure we got the biggest things into the new house. I'd call Grandview Moving again, but I hope not to move for a while!

Forcing my boyfriend (who just found out he needs knee replacement!) to show them how to do their job. My boyfriend carried the items in and proved it would easily fit. They just didn't want to do it and complained the entire time. I was able to move the item they claimed weighed 450 pounds. I've never had a more terrible experience with movers. Ever.

During my estimate, I was told the move could take up to five hours because there were multiple boxes and the televisions would need to be removed and reinstalled. I ended up moving all of the boxes myself, as well as handling the televisions, which should have significantly reduced the amount of time needed. Despite that, the movers still took more than five hours to complete the furniture portion of the move. There were also several instances where I felt the work was moving unnecessarily slowly--for example, carrying only two small pillows at a time. In my opinion, the job should have been completed in approximately three hours given that I had already handled the boxes and televisions. I was also disappointed to be charged for the time spent completing paperwork/documentation in the vehicle after the physical work was finished. Overall, I felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed for time, and the final charge did not feel reflective of the amount of actual moving work that was completed. Again, the movers themselves were very nice young men, but the efficiency and billing of the job were disappointing.
