I'm going to take the hint next time I have trouble finding a place on my GPS! I'm not digging the fact that despite it calling itself a BBQ establishment there was no smoker to be seen. While the cashier was nice once the place cleared, I didn't get a "Hello", not even a "Que Vuelta" when I first walked in the door. They might also need some improvement on their ventilation system as there is a heavy smell of greasyish food. Strictly a takeout place built in a warehouse / strip shopping center in the edge of Hialeah, I take my "default Cuban food" order back to the office. While the chicken breast was relatively lean and sprinkled with uncooked onions (mmm, no thanks) they didn't give me a lemon. The Moros rice was greasy, you could see the sheen and taste the grease. I ended up leaving most of it. Fried plantains were decent and the saving grace of the meal, while the tostones were on the salty side. I feel bad giving them a low rating since it seems to be a family run restaurant but here's hoping they can improve on these comments. read more

I tend to seek out new restaurants in whatever area I'm in, and am delighted to find this location. The food was PHENOMENAL and cozy. There is NO DINE-IN option, but honestly the customer service and food quality made sure I'll be back. Amazing staff, amazing food, cheap prices...! I'm excited to return! I tried Pork ribs, with a side salad and fufu de platano. They make it on the sweet side with ripe plantain rather than green, but with chunks of salty pork.... phenomenal! read more

I was really surprised by this place, the food was stupid good, we ordered a parrillada for 5 which brings a lot of food and our sides were white rice, red beans and tamal. One of my favorite places to eat a traditonal cuban meal just like my mom or grandma makes. The food is amazing!! My favorites are the Lechon Asado, The Masitas de Puerco are awesome and the Vaca Frita ohh and those ribs man those things are addictive. OK so first of all let me start by saying this, I've been ordering from 1-2-3 barbecue since it opened. This place has been open (to my knowledge) for close to 10 years. Once I left for college, and all the kids grew up (including myself) we stopped ordering Cantina from 1-2-3. Once we came back from college and had our own households to tend to, we continued ordering from 1-2 - 3 BBQ. Not only is their food delicious but the service is very friendly. I am greeted with a smile each and every time. The Vaca Frita is a amazing along with the churassco Each and everyone of their beans whether they're black beans white beans red beans Chicharos are just like mom and grandma would make them. Their meats are cut lean there's not an excessive amount of fat on the chicken. actually no fat on the chicken. they are very prompt with their meals. Not only are they prompt. But they cater to their customers needs and wants. Now if you have been living in hialeah for most of your life like I have, you know that the quality of service is not the same everywhere you go at 1-2 - 3 BBQ you do not have to sacrifice service for Great food. I really don't come on here to talk about places I had lunch. But I had to about 123 BBQ in Hialeah Gardens. First this place is CLEAN. Its an open kitchen so there's no doubt. Second, the service is outstanding! There's a southern white boy that greets you at the door. This will through you off cause this is a Cuban BBQ place. But he is the owners husband and he is sweet heart and speaks Spanish !! The food is excellent, Cuban BBQ. Bread was fresh, meat was juicy. Its strictly a take out place. I bought my food there and went down two blocks and ate it at Carl Slade Park. read more

DELICIOUS Cuban Cuisine spot on & CHEAP!!! The churrasco, morro, pork chunks, & uber thin chicken breast are my favs. The arroz con leche got devoured in 2 seconds! Call in your order ahead and that way when you get there it's ready to go. Just pay & go! The frijoles colorados are the bomb as well. Love this place & how inexpensive it is. Do yourselves a favor and completely skip this place. I walked in and I saw flies on the ribs on display. And for some odd reason, they decided to display the ribs with onions on them. I decided to give this place a try. But I told them that I would only take food that was just made. Complete mistake. I tried the ribs, the sauce was watery and flavorless. Also tried the churrasco, god-awful taste. ( It was like they gave me a piece of churrasco which was cooked the day before and left out for the rest of the night. Needless to say, I did not finish the churrasco.) What was good, was the rice. ( And we all know how hard it is to cook rice ). I did the mistake of ever passing by this place.
