I've been going to Maria for years!! She always exceeds my expectations and her quality of work and thoroughness are always top-noch. She is up to date with the latest techniques and I completely trust her with trying whatever she wants on my hair. She takes her time to understand exactly what you want, and always crushes it! I have very thick curly coarse hair and my cut depends on wearing it natural or styled, and my hair is always looking it's best after I see Maria. I've recommended friends and strangers that compliment my hair, that have now been seeing her for years as well. The line of products is also my favorite. I have been coming to 11am salon since its opening in 2016. Maria, the owner, is a very talented and naturally artistic person and it really shines in her business. She is very selective in who she employs at her business and has high standards for who works for at the salon. This is in regard to both their ability level and their personalities. She takes time to have new stylists move through steps before they are given their own chair. That kind of precision and attention to detail is so important when it comes to finding the right salon-- you can really trust these stylists because you know they have been put through the proper training and procedures in order to be where they are. I also know the stylists all receive/attend occasional educational courses to keep up with the new trends for coloring and cuts. The salon itself is very chic and has a boho ambiance. It is also very clean, which is important when considering a salon. Everyone there is also super friendly. The women really put effort and a lot of care into their clients and the outcome. One of my favorite things (again attention to detail/hospitality) is that you are always offered a drink when you are there. The little things really do stand out. In addition, the salon carries Davines products, which are highly regarded. Lastly, it's quite easy to book an appointment online. Typically they return my request in 24 hours. That being said, I have never left 11am without being overly satisfied with the way my hair turned out (whether it be color or cut). I go for a balayage every three months and am constantly blown away by Maria's work. If I am ever feeling indecisive about what to do, Maria is always able to weigh in. Because she is so visual, she has a great gauge of what will look good or what will keep my hair healthy. My daughters and I both went to the salon I had to return twice to have my color corrected. My daughter had to return to have her haircut corrected and have 3 inches of hair removed to correct it. To make matters worse my daughter had to cancel an appointment due to the shocking and unfortunate death of her brother-in-law and the Salon charged her for her appointment. If I could give this salon 10 stars I would. They actually care about what you want your hair to look like and they go above and beyond to make sure you get the results you want. All the stylists are experienced and have so much talent. I've been going here since they opened and every time I leave feeling so fresh and beautiful. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Walking into 11 AM was an amazing experience from the get-go. I was welcomed by the wonderful front desk and greeted by my go to hair cutter, Chrissy! The salon is clean, employees are all nice, and the prices have been fair too! I always look forward to getting my haircut there. read more

I've been coming to 11am since they opened their doors and never looked back. I refer all my friends and family here, which is not something I do lightly, especially when it comes to hair! Everyone is so welcoming and they really take the time to understand what you are looking for. The stylists are always continuing their education to learn new and different techniques. For example; they cut and color my hair with special techniques to accentuate my curly hair. The vibe in the salon is very relaxed, it's a pretty large space and always clean. I will never go to another salon after coming hereI've gotten blonde balayage for years but this is hands down the best hair I've ever had, and I always get so many compliments on it. 3 different stylists have dyed my hair here and they've all given me the best blonde of my life, everyone here is exceptional. Where to even begin with this place first off I highly do not recommend this salon, the unprofessionalism, up charging, taking no accountability for the mistakes made. I have pictures for all of this, this place ruined my new extensions with the way she cut them made them super thin and stringy when I walked in with full hair that was put in 10 weeks prior I have messages with stylist sienna who did not care one bit just disregarded my message, also blocked and unblocked me so the message I sent is gone but I do have screen shots left pieces of the extensions hanging out I had to drive hour and 30 mins the next day to get it fixed, stylist Nikki was not apologetic at all, chunky highlights where parts of the head are not even highlighted. Up charging on prices of color; rude manager Chrissy who did not care when I explained the situation she called me rude for me stating that I was upcharged and she calls herself a manager , ultimately very terrible customer service they don't care about your hair, half the girls in there are level 3 stylists in a couple of months, not trained properly to be doing the work they offer. read more

Where to begin....I had been going to 11 am Salon since 2017 , a much smaller salon then. It was recommended highly by a relative. I loved Caitlyn and her work. The reason for my review is to make people aware of how success and money change people or just bring out what is already inside of them. Not Caitlyn, she has always been wonderful. This salon has changed its cancellation policies without informing customers. No where can you find it in writing that customers old or new can see. You learn when it happens. A cancellation charge, okay, I respect that. Its business afterall. I have been unfortunately unable to be consistent because my hard fought for baby boy (after 8 miscarriages) was born at 34 weeks but only 1 lb 9 oz. He was in the NICU and while at first things were ok, that suddenly changed. I couldn't predict one day to the next. I started to schedule last minute to avoid having to cancel. My last appointment, I got the call I dreaded....my son went downhill fast. I got to CHOP and he died in my arms within an hour of getting there at 6 months old. I somehow remebered to inform the salon I needed to cancel. When I called to reachedule, because i not only needed my hair done but I now had a funeral to run....I was told I was no longer being accepted as a customer. I cannot begin to express how upset and hurt I am with all I have beem through, let alone the discrimination for an unpredictable schedule that has been out of my control. I wish my fate on no one. Be forwarned that this business changes policies without informing customers appropriately without adequete exceptions. They also told me they would call.me this week regarding the matter and I have heard nothing. So my story will now be told on every outlet possible. read more

Do not walk....RUN RUN RUN. This is hands down the absolute BEST salon in the Philadelphia and Montgomery County area. Maria and her team are absolute magicians. The staff is so wonderful as their beautiful new salon, along with reasonable pricing for services. It truly is such a wonderful and amazing experience every time I come in.
