The Core Information You Need Review This gym DOES accept the silver sneakers program for disabled and senior citizens. That is a plus. This gym DOES offer child care, which is a massive plus because many of us United States citizens have children. And for many of us, this is the only time we get to ourselves. My friend pays for a gym-pass that allows him one guest each visit. When we arrived at the Norman location, we find out that their new COVID-19 policy dishonors the contract my friend pays for. They will not allow him to have a guest. BUT, this is not my main concern. My main concern was the conversation I over heard with the two customers and the manager behind me. The two customers behind me were a mother and her child (the child must have been about 8-10 years old). The mother pays for a gym-pass that allows her one guest. The manager told the mother that she could not bring her child in with her. This is not okay for anyone to tell a mother. read more

It's a simple and affordable gym. Large open area in the back for classes and you can also use it for personal workouts if there's no class going on. Super clean gym! It's not a 24/7 gym but I'd say they have reasonable hours on the weekends. Staff have lives too. They're only open for 24hours on Monday-Thursday, I believe. My favorite is the dry sauna. It relaxes me so much after a tough workout. There's no shortage of treadmills and ellipticals so that's a plus if you're into cardio. I'm not. It can get pretty busy during rush hours and the friends and family open house days, but I like to go late at night to avoid people. That's when there's little to no people so I can get my workouts in. So I can eat food with no guilt later. read more

As of today (May 5, 2020) my contract with the Preferred Membership is no longer being honored by this business. I tried to ask them to simply downgrade my pass or the cost for the pass until they will honor the contract again but the manager would not do it. He informed me it would cost me an additional $80 to drop the cost. That is $80! I am currently paying $20 a month, but I'm not being allowed the services I'm paying for and thus basically throwing away $10 a month (the regular pass is $10) Would not recommend this business, check Crunch fitness, it's right across the street. I like this gym but I think they have some updating to do. Carpet in one of the rooms is disgusting, equipment is average, they also don't believe in having the a/c lower than 74 degrees in the summer. I have been a member of 10 Gym for about 2 years and love every minute of it. I use the elliptical to the point of wearing one out. They had it fixed in three days!. I use the machines too. I spend 2.5 hours per day 5 days per week in there, including sauna and shower. I have calculated my cost and it is less than $0.40 per hour for me as a premium member. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend 10 Gym. read more

I've been a member of this gym for a little more than a year. It is always clean and I see people cleaning in the off hours. It has all the equipment you could need for a workout. But the part I like the most it that it isn't obnoxiously blaring music all the time and isn't a place where you feel intimidated unlike the place across the street. I also think the price is a good deal I pay 21 a month and get to bring someone with me every time I go and get access to tanning and classes. Overall great gym I have no complaints. read more

I used to really enjoy this gym, until 1) I have a preferred membership and I am able to take one person, well I took my friend and of course they ID her and told her she couldn't come in because in the past she was a member and unfortunately since she did not pay she couldn't come work out as my guest. Secondly my son is 15 his father got him a gym membership at 10 gym well his year came up and he actually walked to the gym just for the front desk people to tell him that he cannot work out because his annual fee was due mind you he's 15 years old, they couldn't be considerate and just tell him that next time he couldn't come in unless he had it? lastly I work out around noon due to my work schedule I have a four-year-old that needs childcare from that time well 10 gyms childcare times are closed From 12 to 430 very inconvenient for alot of us. Not to mention childcare was five dollars until they increased it to six technically I would be spending about $50 a week . Absolutely ridiculous this place makes me sick. I don't know about cancellation fees, but for premium, there is a contract, and you do have to pay 42 ONCE. That is for the whole year. Sign on, one time fee. Then each month, you pay 21.95, that's 20 with tax. This gym is pretty awesome, if you are going to use a gym for a long time. I like the classes quite a bit, and the sauna is fabulous after you work out. I have been going to this gym (Norman and SOC) for about 6 months now, and it is wonderful. read more

Clean, new, huge. Two plans, either $10 for Basic gym access or $20 for the Premium which gives you tanning, group fitness and bring a guest. Yearly fee of $49 that comes out once a year, but it doesn't come out until 60 days after you sign up. They have childcare, it's a family-oriented gym I'd say. Staff is friendly. Sauna's hot. I moved from OK several months ago, but prior to doing so I made sure to show up in person to cancel my account. I handed my badge to the person at the front desk and they confirmed my account would be closed and would not continued to be billed. Now I see they have continued to charge me for the past several months. I called the store and they said that they did take my badge, but that it is 100% impossible to cancel membership with anyone from 10 GYM. You are forced to call ABC Financial Services which is currently one of the worse rated companies on BBB even prior to 10 GYM opened. After waiting 3 hours to speak to a representative at ABC they refused to credit charges or to even cancel my account. Seems like they try every dirty trick in the bag to prevent membership cancellations. I called my bank and successfully blocked their charges. When I signed up my membership was offered as a "No contract" (which has now changed to "No commitment" but you can see plenty of cached pages and old fliers with the old "No contract" promise) but this turned out to be a lie. Even worse was a 10 GYM representative took my swipe badge and confirmed they would cancel my account which was an even bigger lie. The quality of the GYM itself is pretty poor, with several machines forced to share weight pins, spring clamps only enough for 2/3rd of the benches, and the climb wall was never properly working the entire time I was there. The membership is cheap, but not cheap enough to justify that poor of quality paired with their partnership with ABC Financial Services. Pay an extra 5 dollars a month for a better gym and save yourself the struggle. read more

I had been a member for OVER a year and a half. After a year I changed something with my policy and they started the one year contract all over. I then cancelled my policy, which you CANNOT do at the gym! Oh no, you have to go through the corporate headquarters for that. You can sign up at the gym, but you can't cancel at the gym. That sounds like a scam in itself. I will NEVER pay them a cancellation fee and told them so. Why should I pay them because I don't want to go to their dusty gym with old, failing equipment anymore. They started harassing me with multiple calls daily to contact them about payment of the $79 cancellation fee. It's been going on five months now and the calls keep coming. These idiots are not doing themselves a favor by nagging ex-customers. All they are doing is making sure that I will NEVER go to 10GYM again and I will ALWAYS tell others to STAY AWAY from 10GYM. I loved this gym until they recently remodeled the workout room where the classes are held. They turned the nice large space into 2 small spaces. Now it's very cramped and the equipment is in 2 different places. A room divider would have been a better option than a wall. read more

I frequented 10Gym for about three years and loved every experience I have taken from there! The staff is friendly, the facility is very clean, and it is so affordable. Plus their equipment is pretty new! If I ever move back to Oklahoma I will definitely resume my membership! Very hard to cancel the service must call then write down a long number send an email and continue to pay the membership all financial obligations 30 more days. Also, I called later a night one night to cancel and they "couldn't do it then" had to call twice. There is a reason the Better Business Bureau does not accredit them. read more

Always clean, equipment is in good shape. Only con is wish there wasn't carpet in the Group Fitness room--hard on the knees for the turning and twisting during classes and the smell of sweat lingers in the carpet more so than wooden floors. Overall one of the best gyms I've ever joined. read more

Stayed in Norman for a few days and needed a gym to use, and saw this one had an open house going. Well I go in and I sign a waiver and get in without getting carded. Had a good workout, but the people there didn't really seem to want to clean up after themselves. Leaving weights on the bar, not wiping off the equipment, plates all unorganized and all over the place, etc., although I only used the weight equipment so I can't speak for the cardio and such. I go in the second day to try the open house again, and a different staff member decided to card me even though I had already signed a waiver and worked out the day before. I had gotten dropped off so I don't even have my wallet and end up going back to the hotel. Save yourself the annoyance and money and go to Gold's Gym or just do a bodyweight routine. read more

Their cancellation policy is absurd. They expect you to continue to pay the monthly fee even if you move to a town 45 miles from the nearest facility. You are expected to plead with them to cancel and they may choose to not release you from your contract. Unfair business practices for sure! I rather enjoy this gym! It has tons of space and even with a lot of cardio equipment and free weights! They have great hours and the staff is always friendly and helpful! Its a very clean and very large gym! Classes are fun if you want to mix it up as well. The trainers are always helpful when I need help doing a certain machine or workout.
