My husband and I accompanied our daughter, SIL and 8 month old granddaughter for her ear piercing today. Prior to the appointment we researched 101Piercing and thought it was the place to go. Once we arrived we checked in for our appointment time (very appreciative that we could set an appointment especially with a baby), completed the waiver and began the process of verifying identification and shopping for her earrings. Bradlee was so friendly and knowledgeable answering our questions and making suggestions on size of earrings. He was super helpful and so professional. I'm sure he's answered the same questions a million times and could sense our nervousness but was so patient. Once in the piercing room (he invited all 4 of us into the room) he continued to walk through every move which was so reassuring. He was a perfectionist on marking where the needle would go and re-did the markings several times. All the way throughout he continued to talk us through what to do and how the baby could react. The studio was so clean and comfortable yet sterile and professional. The end result was amazing and even though our beautiful granddaughter cried harder than we've ever heard her before Bradlee was right as soon as she was done she was her usual happy self. The end result was exactly what we were hoping for and the experience was totally worth every dollar paid. The entire set up from check in to superior jewelry to friendly professional service and expertise to even having the checkout in each piercing room was so well done we couldn't be more impressed! I would 100% come back. The first day I went, I was 15th in line when I signed up via the QR code. I couldn't wait, so I told them I'd come back the next day. He suggested I take a picture of the QR code and either text the number or use another phone to scan the code to get in line earlier. He said evenings were the least crowded. I came back the next day and he surprisingly remembered me! There was no wait this time. I came to get my left ear lobe re pierced because I didn't put jewelry in it for so long I thought it had closed up. Bradley at the front was super helpful and knowledgeable in choosing what jewelry was best for me based on the activities I do. He explained they have different posts (flat back, butterfly, etc). I ended up going with flat back so it didn't hurt my ear if pushed back. He gave me good suggestions at what size would look best for me. He also mentioned that I may not need to re-pierce my lobe if the piercer can find the opening in the back. He took me into a real clean room where John came in to look at my ears. He was able to find an opening and push the hardware in. That honestly saved me $45 dollars (which is what would have costed me if he didn't even try and just re pierced my ear). John was knowledgeable and patient with me in answering all my questions. I ended up paying around $250. I bought two gold studs ($95 each) and 2 titanium posts ($20 each). The only problem is the flat back posts only fit the earrings they sell. This place is filled with knowledgeable and friendly people. I decided to go here after recommendations from my co-workers and I really enjoyed my experience! I made sure to get there five minutes after opening time so I didn't have to wait and I like how there was a digital waitlist so I could see who's in front of me and the estimated time. There are plenty of places to sit which is a plus. Luckily, I was able to get in immediately! The place is clean and has quality jewelry, ranging in prices. Some people might be put off by the jewelry prices but it's a piece that is supposed to be kept in for a while. they do have quality pieces for a lower price if you look hard enough. My 2nd earlobe piercing was a great experience. The person piercing my ears was chill and made sure I was comfortable, cleaned my ears, and asked me if the placement of the earring was okay. He asked if I wore larger earrings so he could take into account how much space to give between my first piercing, which I thought was very considerate and professional of him. I love Leucadia it's such a great neighborhoody neighborhood with great local businesses and this one is no exception. My first couple experiences buying and getting jewelery switched out was kinda just ehh the customer service could be better as some of the reviews do mention. However, I went back the other day to get some ear piercings and was pierced by Bradlee the owner and my experience was GREAT. I had about a billion questions on which ones I should do, which jewelry would look best, which ones I could afford etc, (let's be honest here I'm about as particular and as picky as they come) and he was as patient and helpful as could be answering all my questions, pricing and re-pricing so I could see my different options, and giving his opinion on what he thought would look good, he even worked with me on my desire to pierce with the daintiest posts and rings even though they have a protocol to pierce with a certain gauge and size ensuring that I was 100% happy with the outcome. I went with the Tragus and forward helix first and loved it he walked me through everything. A couple days later the forward helix was hurting more than I thought it should, unlike other reviewers I called and got someone on the phone, they took a message and within hours Bradlee himself returned my call answered all my questions and out of abundance of caution told me to come in when I could asap just to check on it to make sure everything was okay and that I didn't need to wait in line he would fit me in. That is exactly what happened. I put myself on the waitlist anyways just to be sure, but within 5 minutes of being there he must have recognized me and he appeared checking both my piercings to be sure they were okay again letting me know if I needed anything to not hesitate to reach out .. now that is stellar service if you ask me. I ended up getting my conch pierced .. by Bradlee of course .. because impulsive behavior dies hard and again he worked with me on ring gauge and size to make sure I was super happy. Overall I am super please and will never not have Bradlee pierce me again. Yes their prices are a bit on the higher side, but I will say he's not wrong, BVLA jewelery is very high end - all of my body jewelry is BVLA and some of it I've had for years and it still looks like the day I got it, so I think if you're getting a quality service and quality jewelry I'd say it's probably worth it to pay the premium price. My review reflects service level and process, not the friendly and capable piercing experts - they are great. Firstly, they don't offer any appointments or ability to schedule. You can join a "waitlist" but even when it's "your turn", expect to wait 30 minutes or an hour (or more!). They also cannot offer an estimation of wait times, which I saw many customers ask for (fairly so) because they had other commitments that particular day. So, you end up wasting time getting on a waitlist, and then wait again, etc. The staff managing the check-in and waitlist are not the friendliest either. There's an establishment down the street, just as professional piercing experts/staff, who offer appointments. You arrive at your set time, they check you in, and you go! Seamless online scheduling and process... and under 30 minutes all-in! Bigger factor: at 101, you cannot "re-use" THEIR jewelry. So, even when you buy from them, you have to buy again (and again, and again) for future piercings. Consider getting three piercings in each earlobe, do the math ($$$ expensive jewelry) = very costly for repeat customers. I paid far less at the place down the street, and when I return to them I can reuse their jewerly! 101 Piercing needs to look at client needs v. sticking with existing processes and 'wait lists' along with having unfriendly frontline staff. Your customers have a choice, and in my case - I took my business elsewhere. Marketing 101: it costs way more to acquire net-new customers v. keeping your existing customers happy/loyal. read more

I was greeted by Bradlee, who told me about the wide selection of jewelry they have. Shoutout to John for making the experience very smooth! He started by marking my ears and making sure that I was ok with the piercing locations. Can't say enough how great this place is. It's costly, don't get me wrong, but the service and the quality are excellent. I've been here a few times to get my ears pierced and have my daughter's ears pierced and we've only had great experiences. You do have to join a waitlist and can do that online or at the store with the QR code. With kids, you have to have birth certificate, so don't forget it at home! I had to have husband send a copy on email, but it all worked out. All people working were kind and professional. Everything was very clean. Will be returning for more piercings. read more

Went in to change jewelry in my helix and my rook- my rook had gotten quite the bump that I thought might be a keloid. I picked out my jewelry (everyone was super helpful in telling me about pricing, what would work). When I got in, Bradlee was very welcoming! He changed my rook out first and dealt with the bump- turned out it was some fluid that needed draining. He was calming and professional, I was having some discomfort but Bradlee made it all well. Glad to say a few days later both piercings are doing so much better and I got lots of helpful tips on how to clean them! Definitely will come back here next time I get pierced. Another bonus, when I checked in the worker was super nice and friendly, got me on the waiting list and I was able to run errands while waiting. I was there on a busy weekend is why I had the time! I came here based off of a review from a friend, and will never come again. I had a second hole in lobes and cartilage re-done after long ago piercings closed initially. The posts used on the lobes were too short and caused an infection while healing. When I came back to get different posts, there was a long wait. I watched as Bradley was incredibly rude to every customer in front of me, then when I asked if I needed to sign in for purchasing the posts and possibly new fronts, I had my head bitten off and treated like I was an idiot that needed everything explained to me.
