Top quality service all around! My car got broken into for my cell phone and they broke the passenger front side window. Bastards! I wasted a day calling places that my insurance recommended and finally choose one with the earliest appointment which was still a long wait. Later that night I searched on Yelp to check out the ratings of the places I had called and I found 101 Auto Glass. The next day I called and left a message. Chantos returned my call very quickly. I wasn't sure what color my glass was so he drove over to my apartment the same day because he was in the area. He explained that Mercedes glass is a different color than most (I can't remember if it was green or blue), so I have to use OEM glass from Mercedes and can't use generic glass. He went above and beyond to get my glass from a Mercedes dealership as quick as possibly. He spent extra time calling all the local dealerships just to try to find my window in stock. We ended up having to order it but he installed it the same day it came in. When I called to cancel my other appointment I first asked if it was OEM glass and they said no. I am so glad I went with Chantos and he took the time to explain to me about the glass difference AND my insurance paid for the OEM glass! Now that's real customer service. I had a great experience with 101 Auto Glass. On returning from a trip, I was dismayed to find a sizable crack on my windshield that had apparently developed while I was away. I called 101 Auto Glass on a Tuesday and scheduled for a Thursday repair. He quoted me a very reasonable $245 for replacing my Honda Fit windshield. Chantos called 15 minutes before arrival and then arrive exactly at the scheduled time. He explained it would take about 1 hour and it did. It was so easy and he did a fantastic job. read more

I promise I'm not just jumping on the 5-star hype bandwagon here, this guy was awesome. I called him at noon on a Friday (today) and asked for a quote. He gave me a rate that was better than Safelite or Allstar glass could, even with my AAA discount. He mentioned that he was booked today and wouldn't be available until Monday which was the case with every place I called. I expressed that the crack in the windshield was growing rapidly and I'd be willing to meet him ANYWHERE to get it done today. He didn't even hesitate to say "okay, let's see what time we can work out". He came to me in San Pablo, didn't even make me come to him. He said he'd call me when we was on his way. We didn't have a set time, we agreed to play it by ear so I could run errands and not wait around all day. Fast forward to the work, he came, finished it in an hour, it looks great. He was kind, explained all that I needed to know. He was knowledgeable and efficient. I even had him check out a weird sound I had when rolling up my drivers window and he gave me some simple advice that helped put my mind at ease. He takes card, but there's a small fee. After watching a crack in my windshield spread to about an arm's length in a matter of minutes, I panicked. I had my husband call around to a couple different places for auto glass and to price them out.
