After a month of travel in Italy we arrived into Nice. And we were really, really needing something to eat that wasn't pizza , pasta, fromage, or ham. Plus one of us was missing food from her home, Mexico. We came for tacos and we were not disappointed. Great tacos, superior margaritas, and hot sauces that definitely transport you to the other side of the world where hot sauce it is always on the table. Wonderful place to visit if you're craving a REAL taco! The tinga de pollo is excellent and it's a cute little restaurant with fun decor. I am really glad we found it!!! They have jarritos AND coronas if you are feeling nostalgic as well for some great Mexican food/drink. The salsa is nice and spicy - it was perfect with the tacos!! Friendly and delicious, speaks French, Spanish, and English. Tacos carnitas were amazing, Al Pastor a close second. Make sure to get the special salsas- they make it a whole different dish! A must for that plat mexicain in Nice. read more

This place was recommended by a few folks we know and in various blogs. We order 3 tacos, guacamole and margaritas, everything tastes fresh and homemade but felt it was overpriced. The guacamole was a very small portion and the served with stale pita chips. The meat in all the tacos were great but missing fresh vegetables or a crunchy elements. I was so happy to find this little gem. The service was amazing. A tiny little spot, family owned. If you're craving tacos they had street style tacos reasonably priced. I'm not a huge fan of corn tortillas. I should have asked if they had flour I think I would have liked what I ordered better. I had the pepper and cheese taco and cheese and been quesadillas. Love this place! We had both the chicken tinga and carnitas tacos and the flavor was fantastic. Some of the pictures looked like they used fried shells, but the shells were soft, homemade corn tortillas just like you'd find in a taqueria in Mexico City or California. Meat portions were good and the sides included pickled red onion, spicy green salsa and a milder red salsa. I will dream of this taco spot for the rest of my life. We happen upon this restaurant on our last day in Nice, we decided to check it out.
