I was referred to Southlake Endodontics by my dentist Dr. Lauren Drennan of Davis Family Dental…read moreCare, which btw they are awesome too, highly recommended. I was seen by Dr. Chad Allen who is very awesome. Although I don't like to be kept waiting, that aside Dr. Allen made me feel comfortable from the start. As soon as he walked in to the patient's treatment room, I had no doubts of his abilities. He told step by step what I should expect, even though I wasn't nervous. They have really good tunes going on the radio which made the whole visit comfortable. I've been recommending Dr. Chad Allen of Southlake Endodontics to my neighbors, family, etc. In fact I had to seen him again because I kept feeling sensitivity on the tooth that he worked on (no problems found due to the procedure), and on the way home stopped by Tom Thumb store in Grapevine and was talking to the cashiers. And I had told them about Dr. Allen and one of the ladies said she was looking for a Doctor because she needed a root canal. I talked up Dr. Allen because he truly did an awesome job. Truth be told even after the procedure I truly had no pain whatsoever. This man knows what he is doing and I highly recommend him, and to make this even great. His staff are awesome too from his assistants, to the front desk people. I really don't make any recommendations, but I can't help but to recommend Dr. Chad Allen. I've no doubt that the other doctors in this office is as great as he is, even though I have no dealings with them. Thank you Dr. Chad Allen and your staff. Hope you enjoyed the donuts. :) Jay

I love him to pieces and will have to say he made the whole office brighten up especially since he took pain away!!!!!!!! The only reason for the 4 Star is that the front desk is not organized well nor do they have a good system for helping a patient in pain. YEars ago the front desk was wonderful! Micha who is also now there is meh - no empathy and borders on being rude. Other then that the practice is wonderful!!!!! Although never the same without my favorite doctor.

I would rate this dentist 0 stars if I could. Literallly issue after issue after issue. Do not go…read morehere!! I came in for a cleaning, to get a broken tooth checked out. They checked it out told me I could keep my tooth and just put a crown on it. The dental assistant was great , however the male main dentist, not so much we will get more into that later. So I came in for a second appointment. They shaved my tooth down and put on a temporary crown. After a few days I had to come back in to have them shave down the temporary tooth because it was cutting my tongue. I let them know during the appointment that my mouth was still numb on both sides and they told me it would go away. Well it took over two month due to them hitting a nerve. The dentist response to when I told him my mouth was still numb was ," well... hopefully it will come back soon." I was then told the crown would be ready in a week or two, they told me they would give me a call back when it was ready. Three weeks goes by then five weeks, so I called the dentist and they were like it's ready, and set up an appointment. Still don't understand why I had to call them and not me but not the point. I go in to get the crown on, I explain to the dentist how it hurts to eat with the crown. He told me it was probably from the temp. Crown. So I go no numbing and no laughing gas because he told me there should be no pain. He takes it off , touches my tooth once. Instant pain down my jaw. I have him numb me then he puts on the crown and I move on with my life. I did my research was still having pain it said to wait a few weeks before calling back the dentist if pain was still occurring. So still I could not eat on that side of my mouth. I call back after a few weeks go by after seeing a different dentist since I don't trust them anymore. To inform them that the tooth they shaves and put on a crown on, had an exposed nerve and it was touching the crown and there was a gap that was not bonded from the tooth to the crown. The other dentist told me to inform them since they made the mistake to have them fix it. My insurance would not cover anything new to that tooth because they already worked"fixed it". Do you want to know what they told me? There is nothing I can do for you, you would have to go to a root canal place to have it fixed. Because they don't do root canals. My insurance will not cover that tooth anymore because they already worked on it. They made the mistake they need to fix it. I'm furious. I had to get it removed now because of the damages they have caused to my tooth. Please take my advise and do not go here. They will not listen to you or give you the help you need. Go elsewhere!

My sons and I have loved having Dr. Cerone and associates for dental care for many many years. His…read moreteam is phenomenal!! I have to say that the people who are doing the scheduling and rescheduling of appointments is not up to the high caliber of professionalism and perfection of the previous schedulers. Last summer my college son's summer appointment was canceled! Appointments are hard to come by and we always appreciate the attempt to reschedule. And in fairness and to be helpful, we always cancel and call ahead if we have any changes that need to be made. I just got stuck again and have lost out on my December appointment due to carelessness. We have always booked appointments a year in advance and it's common to need to move a date when you book that far ahead. I recommend you check often if you make any changes to your original schedule AND verify appointments.

Before I start, I do want to say that the staff of this office - absolutely delightful. Very sweet…read morepeople who are very professional. Love the office - clean and respectable. After calling around to several different dental offices in the area before making my choice, I chose Dr. Cerone almost entirely based on Eric, the receptionist who was one of the most professional, efficient, and knowledgeable dental office receptionists I have ever met to this day. Unfortunately, he does not work there anymore, and unfortunately, the dental care provided did not match the care he provided. I went in to get a root canal and a crown. After receiving my root canal at a great endodontist that Dr. Cerone's office suggested to me (endodontist did a perfect root canal - endodontist was, again, suggested by Eric), I went back to Dr. Cerone's office for my crown. Out of respect, I will not name the dentist who treated me... But I will say that I made 5 EXTRA trips to this office that did not need to be made because my crown was poorly made 4 different times. I calculated, and I spent a minimum of 11 extra hours in that office that, had the crown and all the procedures been done right the first time, did not need to be spent. I am an extremely patient, forgiving person... But even I will say that 5 extra trips and 11 extra hours for a simple crown is excessive. Even then, I did not complain - I understood that sometimes people make mistakes and maybe the entire thing was not completely in their control (they send their crown molds to an off-site location). I wasn't going to write a bad review, even when I knew that this kind of treatment and care deserved one. When I requested to have a few simple fillings done out of precaution (because I did not want to go through the trouble of another root canal... surprising, I am sure) and I asked for a discount for all my troubles, they simply said no. Now THAT, my friends, is overkill. When you know the extreme amount of time and trouble that one of your patients went through for a simple crown from one of your dentists and you won't even offer a simple discount after all that... That is ridiculous. And that's saying a lot, coming from me. To top it all off, when I went to my new dentist a week or so ago, he took a look at my X-Rays and immediately asked, "Who did your crown? This is not a very well-done crown..." and proceeded to show me why. He did mention, however, that the endodontist who did my root canal did an excellent job. All of this to say - I can take people making mistakes, even multiple ones. I do believe that if the mistakes and less-than-acceptable treatment/care is excessive, the care provider should make amends or some sort of effort to placate the customer. Bad customer service and care on TOP of excessive unacceptable treatment is not okay. Period.

Nina even gave my shoulder a reassuring pat while I was getting numbed up, and that small gesture made a big difference in calming my nerves. The whole experience felt smooth, calm, and way less stressful than you'd expect for a procedure like this. I truly hope I never need another root canal, but if I do, I won't hesitate to come back and ask for Dr. Green again.

Stay away from this place -- very dishonest experience…read more I was referred here and spoke with them a couple of times over the phone. They sent me a large number of documents and disclosures, but never clearly stated the cost of the visit. When I arrived, they performed a scan that I questioned, since I had already completed one just days earlier with the referring dentist. If they already had that information--or could have requested it--why repeat it? It felt unnecessary, especially knowing I'm a cash-paying patient. After going through all the paperwork, the large fee was only disclosed at the very end, which is completely unacceptable. When I addressed it, the manager argued and claimed their staff always discloses fees. That simply didn't happen. It became my word against theirs. I was told this would be a consultation to discuss the cost of a procedure--not an unexpected charge for services I didn't clearly agree to. Very misleading and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.
