The staff here is very friendly and helpful. You can "practice" in your lane for ten minutes before starting your game, which was great for the group I was with since many of us had not bowled in some time. This translates to the towns most popular watering hole as well. Their food is pretty standard bar food, but it's always cooked well and tastes great. The prices for their food is also well below most of the places We've been to that are similar on the IL side. Their drinks are also priced well and they have a decent selection but don't expect to have mixologist level drinks. Bartender was not very friendly, maybe he was just tired or having a bad day or something. Drink selection was a bit basic - no draft beers, not much of a top shelf, but had the basics like Jack Daniel's. Other people seemed nice but mostly kept to their own groups. I practiced by myself for about an hour with no one interrupting or disturbing me and then checked out and left. Summary: 3/5 if I was local I would probably go back just for the tables, but nothing really stands out to make it a destination if you're just visiting.
