Monique is a fabulous host, designer and culinary expert. Every room is designed with the guest in mind. No detail is overlooked. Whether it be the comfort of a lush inviting bed with duel heat controls, or the use of fresh local ingredients in all of her dishes. We can't wait for next visit.

This is a lovely B and B ! Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. They serve a fabulous breakfast with excellent coffee. Monique and Gipper are very attentive hosts. The place is spectacularly decorated in high Victorian period. I plan on visiting again!

The Inn had such wonderful details!

I stayed at this beautiful Bed & Breakfast 5 lovely nights and I am very impressed. Monique Pasquale is a jewel of an owner. Her joie de vivre is contagious. She is always filled with laughter and kindness and generosity. I had wanted a quiet stay immediately after my divorce. I instinctively decided to spend a peaceful time in Frederick. I was lucky enough to choose this charming place. The home is a beautiful Victorian style home filled with charming little alcoves and corners throughout. My charming 4 poster bed was wonderful to sink into and my lovely bathtub and bathroom was luxurious. The staff, Rachel and Christopher, were both charming and very hospitable. And I haven't even mentioned the absolutely delicious breakfasts. I can describe them here but won't do any of them any justice. They are Monique's family recipes. I have stayed in many lovely places before. 10 Clarke equals and even surpasses most. Thank you, Monique, for making your wonderful business a most joyful home for all who enter. I will be back very soon, especially right before a snowstorm.

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. The house is gorgeous and immaculate inside and out. We were warmly greeted by Christopher who offered us fresh baked cookies, gave us some history of the house and made us feel truly welcome. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, the bed was super comfortable and we loved the heated bathroom floor. We enjoyed complimentary wine next to the stunning Xmas tree staying warm by the fire in the evening and wrapped up our stay with their amazing 3 course breakfast. Our stay was perfect from start to finish!

The cutest b&b in all the land. First time visiting Frederick and it's such a delightful little town too. Cute shops, restaurants, and canal walk along the water to enjoy during my quick stop in Maryland before heading North. 10 Clarke was a magical stay. Decorated perfectly, every room has a special touch. Complimentary wine and cookies + breakfast the next morning. Had a lovely conversation with a fellow guest in the living room before dinner. Beautifully renovated bathrooms. I don't have enough good things to say about this diamond in the rough. If I ever pass through Maryland again, I'd make a point to spend the night at 10 Clarke just to have this experience again.

My girlfriend picked out the bed and breakfast for our trip to go eat at Volt! It was awesome! Very beautiful, and the staff was wonderful! Our room was spotless, and comfortable. They had music playing in the hotel that you could access from a touch panel in your room. Every room has its own private bathroom with a shower, tubes, and vanity mirror and sink. Our stay was quite and peaceful. Just outside of town so the walk to everything is convenient. We could walk everywhere in minutes. The staff was very courteous and friendly. They put out wine and cookies at night, cooked an amazing 3 course breakfast the next morning (the smoothie and signature makes chocolate waffles were amazing), and they are very knowledgeable with questions we had about the town, and what to do. Parking is easy, and it's a great neighborhood.

What a charming and cozy historic bed and breakfast! Soft French jazz is played throughout the house and fireplaces are lit creating an atmosphere that takes you back in time. The decorations are so plentiful that no stone is unturned. Beds have mattress warmers and remote controlled lights are bedside. Chef Michael's food is extraordinary as is his tender loving care. A must stay on a cold winter weekend!

Can't say enough about how great it was to stay at 10Clarke! My girlfriend and I wanted to get out of town (we live just about an hour south in Arlington) for our one year anniversary and wanted to spend a night in Frederick. I decided to check out B&B's in the area and was really glad I stumbled upon 10Clarke. All of the reviews I had read prior to our stay we're all very helpful and Monique was great. The room (Turret Room) was beautiful, as was the rest of the house. Breakfast was perfect and coffee was very good. My girlfriend has tea and there were an assortment from a local shop in Frederick. Also walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars and other sites. If you're staying a night or two in Frederick and going to be out and about downtown, stay at 10Clarke, it's worth the few extra bucks!

Amazing service! The owner and the staff go to the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of and you enjoy your stay. Make sure you don't miss the breakfast because it is the highlight of your stay!

I fortuitously stumbled across the Hollerstown Hill B&B and they had exactly one room left: the Queen Anne. Since Frederick is one of our favorite small towns in the general area, with several truly excellent restaurants and always something happening, and because the B&B's location is very central and the pricing reasonable, I went ahead and booked it. And I am so glad that I did! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Betty and Phil. They showed us around the various common area rooms, including a large sitting room, a game room, a dining room, and a the large wrap-around porch. And invited us to use their coffee maker or grab a cold bottle of water, soda, beer or wine from the refrigerator. And then they showed us up to our room. The Queen Anne room is fabulous, with lots of light from the large windows, a King bed, two drawing chairs, an armoire, a sink/dressing area and a separate toilet and shower. Overall I have nothing but amazing feedback on our hosts and our accommodations, but if Victorian decor and dolls aren't your thing or something you'd be amused by -this may not be the place for you. Although in that case, there will be more of Betty's scrumptious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for those of us that enjoy a truly memorable experience!

Their home is over 100 years old and well kept. Their home is a historic Victorian with a lot of collectable decor. It's fun to spend a night or more here for a cozy and personable experience. We had no problem parking out front. They have snacks, beverages, wine, beer, a library, pool table and a porch out front for a nice breeze during weather appropriate months. The home is about half a mile from downtown where there are amazing restaurants and cute shops.

Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!
