We repaired it and installed a French drain. Our other home is on a hill with a daylight basement and had issue where the rain was coming down a hill into the crawlspace above the daylight basement. Again he repaired the dirt area, which was very difficult in this home, and installed a French drain. No issues since! He will be my first call anytime a home of ours has draining issues.
