Initially, I attempted to work with an auto collision shop associated with my BMW dealership however, they were less than cooperative with my insurance company, which was a bummer since the accident was not my fault. I reluctantly went to BW Collison for my repairs. This was first time someone other than my dealership touched my vehicle (not to mention my very first and hopefully my last accident), and I couldn't be more pleased. My journey with BW Collison began with them alleviating the stress of getting my vehicle from one repair shop to theirs. James did a great job with keeping the lines of communication open as they repaired my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle I was blown away! Not only did they do a stellar job with the repairs but they went above and beyond by buffing my headlight lamps! After I got my vehicle home, I noticed some scratches that were on the rear bumper that was done by the other repair shop, I immediately called James and he offered to get it buffed for me. I was absolutely grateful and glad I didn't have to deal with the previous shop since it was not the greatest customer experience. James and his staff were a delight to deal with. They were fast, efficient, and take great pride in their work. What surprised me most wasn't just how well they repaired the SUV. It was how much easier they made the entire experience. Maria was the person handling my case, and she deserves a special shoutout. She was incredibly patient with me, kept me updated, answered my questions, and somehow managed to keep me calm during a situation that had me seriously stressed out. I never got the feeling that I was just another repair order sitting in a queue. I felt like she genuinely cared about getting everything handled correctly. Silver Lining also did a great job dealing with the insurance side. They understood the process, communicated with the insurance company, and helped make sure the repairs my vehicle needed were actually addressed.
