He was very prompt -- we had quite a few jobs to do. He fixed 2 bathroom drains, installed a doggy door and hung our video security cameras. He had me make sure the cameras were angled just right to protect our property. The doggy door was not easy to install. It came in a glass panel to be attached to our sliding glass door. All I can say is Tyler is a magician! Right when he was leaving, my new chair was delivered. Of course it needed assembling and Tyler offered to do it. It only took him about 15 minutes, whereas it would take hours for me and my husband to assemble! I am so happy that I found the perfect handyman company. And plus they're licensed!!

He had a process for completing the job efficiently and was done ahead of schedule. We've also had him install an outdoor fan, fan remotes, bathroom vent fan, recessed smart lighting, dimmer switch, and new GFCIs. He always provides pricing up front without me even having to ask. His work is flawless. His cleanliness is impeccable. His respect and care for our property is even better than my own. He texts when he's on his way. If he's supposed to be here at 8, I will see his truck out front by 7:55. Bryan is also great at explaining different options for fixing or improving things, as well as offering different solutions at different price points when he can. He has encouraged me to go with the simpler, cheaper fix when someone else might have tried to upsell me. He's also just a good guy who is easy to talk to and someone you can feel comfortable having in your home. When people tell me about some of the stuff they put up with from other contractors, I think, "If only they could meet someone like Bryan and realize they do not have to put up with that BS." The only drawback is that because he is so successful, it sometimes takes a few weeks to get on his schedule. But his work is so good that I would rather wait than go with someone else.

As a homeowner, and now a landlord, I no longer panic when the renters call to report a leak - I know mark will find it fast. Watching him work is like watching magic. He's the best diagnostician! His prices are beyond fair. And the job gets done the right way. Mark has repaired many things for me over the 3 years since I first found him: several leaks, assembled and hung some intricate office shelves, installed a cat enclosure in the basement to accommodate the litter box, and installed a new garbage disposal, among many other projects, too many to name. The cat enclosure is amazing. He designed this tunnel for the cats to walk through, attached to a kitty door, and the litter box mess is not in the house while also not outside! The cats love it and so do the people. The tunnel has a quick release for cleaning the inside of the enclosure. Pure genius!

At 10:30 a new dishwasher was delivered to be installed by the place where it was purchased. The delivery people said the connector hose was incorrect - without ever looking inside the box- and left the dishwasher in its crate in our living room. Stephan who had completed his work and cleaned up took pity on us.. He stepped up to the plate and worked us into his schedule later in the day. Returned, installed the new dishwasher and removed the packing and took it and the old dishwasher to the dump. Efficient, polite and a pleasure to have in our home. We'd use him again.

I sure wish I was smart enough to read these reviews before I hired him. Those 1 and 2 star reviews…read moresaid it all. I found him rude, condescending, arrogant and certainly not forthcoming in his pricing. I should have asked all those questions like, how much, how many men, have you done this before, references please? But I didn't. When I approached him on this project last year, he said he could do the job, that in fact he could do anything. I sent him photos and description of the item to review then I asked him to walk the job to be sure the project was feasible. He refused saying as long as it fits it will be good. *****I got several estimates, all around the same, 2 men, 4-5 hours and 5 to $600. He was charming and self confident.. 1st red flag! When I asked if he could pick up and deliver the item from Costco he said no problem. I offered to pay for his trip and again he said "that's Ok" I live right there, which implied to me "no fee". No other contractor has ever charged me to pick up things that I can't. He then sent his partner ( brother) to install the item. Later he showed up and was very testy with his brother/partner/hire. Stephan was verbally annoyed that he had to stay and help him. It was clearly a 2 man job from beginning to end but after an hour he left his brother to do it alone saying to me "you don't want to pay 2 men, do you? He never made clear that 2 men would be double the price. But after listening to his brother cough every 5 minutes, get increasing slower and weaker, I called Stephan to tell him. He was so rude that he said if I didn't like it to get someone else to finish the job. He tried to gaslight me into believing I was hearing and seeing things. After which he said his brother was worse yesterday. Who puts an obviously ill man on a job clearly meant for two people? Actually Stepan's personality changes concerned me. He agreed to come back the next day by himself to finish the job. Then presented me with the bill. I paid it only under duress because I wanted him out of my home. He said he wouldn't charge me for his brother's time ( lack) but he charged $310 for delivery. ( all other estimates I received were under $100. ) . Then he added an extra hour from the delivery charge to the (2) hours he said he was here helping his brother. Again it is my fault for not getting an itemized estimate of charges ( which he would have known if he actually had done the same job in the past), How many people, their fee, extra fees, and time? No, he was not forthcoming in his pricing. But again, my fault for not asking but .......So if you are thinking of hiring him get everything in writing and make him commit to what he says because I found that his memory will change. ***** After installing the posts and anchoring them, he said to me " I can't guarantee the posts will stay because they are anchored into pavers and the pavers will come up in an earthquake. WOW. If only he wasn't so arrogant about being able to do anything and just walked the job before hand......
