He was very prompt -- we had quite a few jobs to do. He fixed 2 bathroom drains, installed a doggy door and hung our video security cameras. He had me make sure the cameras were angled just right to protect our property. The doggy door was not easy to install. It came in a glass panel to be attached to our sliding glass door. All I can say is Tyler is a magician! Right when he was leaving, my new chair was delivered. Of course it needed assembling and Tyler offered to do it. I called Dave early in the morning at 8am to get some help for my garage because I wasn't able to get power to my garage opener and lights. I was able to get in direct contact with him and he said that he could come within a couple hours! He came very fast and was able to identify/fix the problem in less than an hour. NOT RECOMMENDED ! I would give a negative rating if I had the option. Had to get 2 TVs mounted on the wall and the door lock changed. Kevin was the person who was sent out to do the job. He spent 2 hours at our place and all that got done in this time was the door lock. He kept going back to the truck to grab items and was gone for 15-20 min for smoke breaks. I'm paying by the hour so I expected him to stay on the job, but two 15-20 min breaks to me is unacceptable. We ended up sending him back as he was less interested in the work and more in his breaks. So I ended up paying $145 for a door lock which I bought for $200! Unfortunately, our usual handyman wasn't able to come, else he would have completed the entire job in an hour and would have costed me half the price. read more

If I could give this man no stars, I certainly would. He saw that I was a woman, alone, and overcharged by thousands of dollars. When I actually talked to two other professionals, they told me that they would stand beside me in court, if that was the route it took--because contractors like this give other professionals a bad name. I still have not financially recovered the money he took from me. The pay-by-hour rate is a real rip-off. Do not risk your money or your time for a job poorly done, frequent appointment cancellations because a better paying job, and a surly manner. I was swindled and he did it purposely. He said he would sue me for the last $250.00 and I wish he had--because then, I could have counter-sued on his dime and retrieved the thousands he had lined his pockets with. read more

I would not recommend this handyman, he does not follow up on his work. I wouldn't be writing this if he had responded to my request to fix one of the items he worked on. I had a light switch that would not work sometimes, and it needed to possibly be replaced or adjusted. He replaced a different switch that was connected to the same light. I requested that he come back out to fix the issue, and he stopped responding to my text messages. Another issue was the fact that I warned him that I had a dog downstairs and a cat upstairs. One of his workers left my upstairs bedroom sliding door open after bringing their latter into the room. I noticed this and panicked, thinking my cat got out. He didn't seem to care that I was looking for my cat and I couldn't find her. He just kept working while I searched my home. I finally found my cat after 30 minutes, but I would have thought he would have assisted me in my search since his worker did leave the door open. Brad showed up on Friday at 9:00 AM. He took 8 hours to lay the tile. $580.00. He said he would be back on Monday to do the grout. 3 full days without shower or toilet. He showed up on Monday morning at 9:00 and finished at 12:00 noon. Another $250.00. You have to be kidding me!!! Over $800.00 to lay that tile. I feel we got raped!!! read more
