They said no problem, there would be plenty of room and even room left over. Zippy Shell, unbeknownst to me, contracts with College Hunks to load the pods. When CH arrived, they right away told me my stuff would never fit into the one pod and I needed another one. Keep in mind Zippy Shell has only one size pod and they each cost $3000.00. My moving costs just doubled. I called and asked them to send another right away. They said it would take 2 hrs to get an answer as to whether they could. !I asked why so long? They said that's the process. I said what's the process? They said we send an email. What?? Something that needs to be done quickly will take 2 hrs to find out IF they could fix their error? I had to drive back up to Miami that same day! I said CALL THEM! Nope! They would not call. I finally called myself and was told they never got an email from Zippy Shell. And Zippy Shell closes at 12 on Saturdays. Now you get the 2 hr time frame!! So I had no choice but to leave Naples, drive back up to Miami and deal with it later. Monday morning at 7 am College Hunks called to say they would be in Naples in one hr. I there was nothing I could do to be there because my car was being picked up to be transported to NJ at 11:00! Therefore, I had to trust these guys to load the pod with out me being there! Not a good feeling! I asked them to lock it and send me the keys. They said they don't do that. They told me to buy a lock cutter. So when the pods arrived, 21 days later when it was supposed to be a maximum of 10 days, the lock cutter did not work. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a power tool to cut the lock. All because they would NOT send me the keys to the lock! This took time and the power tool cost $250.00!! WE cut the lock and got to work. The crew was lazy, slow, and I actually had to help them move MY stuff because they were so incompetent. They didn't do what I was telling them to do and they loaded my storage unit in such a way that we couldn't get all my stuff into a 10/20 storage unit! And when the 2nd pod arrived, they took everything out and then 5:00 came and they said they had to go when all my stuff was outside the pod and I had no help. I was there alone. A 71 yr old disabled woman. I was hysterical crying! What was I going to do? This was the day before the 4th of July wkend. Who could I call? I was beyond upset! I was lucky enough to get three of my friends to show up at a moments notice to help me. And Public Storage allowed me to use a different pod overnight to get the rest of my stuff into and then reorganize the next day. The next day I hired two people to meet me to unload the original storage units and reload the way it should have been done. What a mess and talk about stress!! Then Zippy Shell actually had the nerve to call me and say they were going to charge me an additional $800 dollars because of how much time it took! You have got to be kidding me right?? After what they did to me?? After scamming me into two pods after they assured me one was enough doubling my moving cost?? And after I had to buy a power tool? And the driver had no phone charger so I lent him mine and he took off with it! It was a total circus! DO NOT EVER USE ZIPPY SHELL-EVER!!!!!! They will screw you! And what they sent to me was not a pod per se, it was a cage! It was open! It was not enclosed! Apparently then they turn it over to Pack Rat who covers it in plastic! If you look on Zippy Shell's website, you never see a cage, you see enclosed pods!! They scam you right from the get go! I moved here in June. I am STILL fighting with them. They are horrible! They have no care for the customer, just money, money, money!! ZIPPY SHELL IS THE WORST!!!!

We already have enough bad drivers up here. However, your driver takes the cake. Passing people on the left and right like he's an F1 driver (an F1 driver in a huge box truck with god only knows how many tons of furniture). He was tailgating so close to me, that I don't think there was enough space to slide a sandwich between our cars. Not sure if him tailgating and then accelerating up to 85 in a 65 was worse, or your employee hanging up on me when I tried to report it. Told him I couldn't email whatever person he was telling me to complain to, because I was driving with both hands. And this was also kinda urgent. Don't need him tailgating people all the way back to NJ.

Finally, we get a text saying that the truck was to arrive today 4/29/2025. It did....BUT, the item was deliberately left off the truck. The driver told us he made a mistake coming to our home. The piece did not fit on the truck, or so he said and his boss told him to leave it. When we confronted the driver he asked that we not call his boss because he would get fired. We called to get another delivery date but the reps on the phone would not give us a definitive date. My husband ended up driving to their terminal and picking it up. If you have a choice do not use this company. It's a shame that customer service is non existant.
