I have found the girl who works there to be sweet and helpful for suggestions of products they sell being age appropriate. I also like the fact that they do wrap the items in a choice of wrapping papers and ribbons as well as give gift receipts. This makes it so much easier in a bag and ready to go. Ive found the retail cost compatible to the few other similar places that I have visited. Tip: Dont bother to call. They Never answer the phone, should I have a question better to just go in person, as Idid today only to find that they didn't have the item that I was looking for. They do not open until 11 AM. Ok so toys and what not are not a must have at 9 am - most times anyway. I do not recall them having much if any card selections. True there are many places around to buy cards. Again a 1 stop shop to grab a birthday card at the front counter of the store is helpful though perhaps not business cost efficient. Easy corner location, angle parking access and well lite, its my first choice of places to go for gifts. Tip: check on line for things that you might be looking for and then, shop in store for things directly available.

Does Target allow kids to test out toys before buying? No way. You'll never get the type of attention and care that you get at Fun Stuff Toys. The staff are all great. They have some cute presents like wine glasses for all occasions, funny signs, small kid's toys, and many angel figurines. The reason I feel compelled to review them and give a 5 star review is for the clerk today. To be honest I was in a pretty bad mood today. There was a much older man checking out while I made my card selection. The older man was buying lotto tickets but didn't know their name and the clerk was helpful in him figuring out which one he wanted based on the description of the drawing. Then clerk began asking the man about his family and the customer really opened up to him about his life. I didn't even mind fake browsing for awhile so they could continue talking because I didn't want to interrupt. Watching the clerk's kindness towards the man really turned my day around.

I was looking to create mylar retirement balloon centerpieces for a retirement party with 100+…read moreguests at a restaurant when I walked into Party House in Woodbury a week before the party. Emir, one of the managers, directed me to the retirement balloon section of the store, where I got an idea for a mylar balloon, but the colors weren't quite right with one balloon, and got another idea for a balloon, but the size was not quite right for the tables for which we needed them with the other balloon. So I brought my dilemma back to Emir, who then enlisted the help of another manager, Oz) and together, they not only ordered the right colored mylar balloons, but the mylar balloons were also the right size for the tables we needed :) :) AND they were able to have them delivered the day before the party!!! That day, Emir also helped me coordinate the colors of the latex balloons, ribbons and weighted bases to go with the tablecloths and napkins at the restaurant. Emir went the extra mile with me . . . and this was all happening on a Saturday!!! I could not have asked for more or kinder assistance that day!!! Of course, when I went to pick up the balloon centerpieces the following Friday, the Party House team outdid themselves AGAIN :) :) :) I picked up the balloons at 3pm on the day of the party. They were ready on time and Emir made sure to send along a couple of extra balloons at "no charge" in case anything happened to a couple of the balloons during my trip from Party House to the restaurant. (What smart, kind and thoughtful thinking!!!). In addition, the Party House team worked with me to separate the balloons into the bags in which I needed to carry them, because I was expecting high winds that day that would have tangled them all together. The Party House team helped me with every facet of the retirement party mylar and latex balloon centerpieces to produce beautiful centerpieces for the tables that filled the ballroom at the restaurant. The entire Party House team did their very BEST job for me!!! And THIS is why Party House is THE BEST party store on Long Island!!! I am so grateful that they took over this store in Woodbury. The quality of the products and the quality of the people make this store the BEST source for ALL of your party needs :) :) :)
