I was really hoping that 006 would defy the reviews and be amazing. I was met with a mediocre experience, lots of opportunities for improvement, and disappointment. I was first in line at Levy Park to place an order. It took just over 30 minutes for me to receive my food- and yes, they were set up and ready to go when I walked up. My "regular" sized caprese pizza was $13. They also offered a "park size" (half of a regular) for $6-$8ish. I posted a picture of my pizza (with my hand for reference). For $13, I was expecting a lot more (and I'm used to higher food truck prices). The pizza was baked in a neat pizza oven- I will give credit that the truck set up and oven are very original and cool to watch! The actual taste of the pizza? Meh. Arugula was fresh but overwhelmingly heaped on, "homemade" mozzarella was okay, sauce was definitely from a can. I will say- everyone who worked there was very nice and professional, the owner (who was making the pizzas) is definitely from Italy and knows what he's doing. I genuinely hope they can work on their speed, price, and size- then I'll happily come back.

Authentic Italian pizza! My favorite pizza in Houston. Super friendly team. Like being in Italy.

My favorite in Houston. Just like being in Italy. Fresh ingredients and the best crust!

My pizza was ready on time and the service was great although our interaction was brief. It's a thin crust pizza and the edges were just perfect out of the oven. The chimichurri worked perfectly with the smokiness of the chicken. The cheese was so fresh and the sauce flavorful. Next time I'll order it well done because the toppings made it a bit soggy in the middle the next day. I can't wait to try more on the menu! The space is small and has patio seating. I would consider it more for takeout or a quick lunch.

Walking in there a couple seats to the right, menu is on the wall to the left, and order & pickup counter in the center. I ordered the Coffee Cowboy pizza and a full order of Dad's Bruschetta (Dad OG's). It took quite a while for the food to be ready, as it was a Friday, and was just blowing up on social media. So I recommend ordering online beforehand, I also noticed while waiting for my food to be ready, that the staff taking orders were bias towards certain customers but that could just be me. There are more tables and seating outside in front with napkins rolls available which I sat at when the food ready. The Coffee Cowboy pizza had coffee-crusted hereford flank steak, smoked onion bianco sauce, mozz, white cheddar, caramelized onion, smoked salt, and truffled arugula. But sadly wasn't to my liking along with the Dad's Bruschetta. Overall, food wasn't really to my liking, and recommend ordering ahead of time.

Excellent pizza. And I felt like I was in NYC…read more We came here on a whim on an early Saturday night (around 8 p.m.), though this joint has been on our radar for years. The atmosphere is somewhat dingy, but not in a dirty way. Rather, it just felt like they spend so much time turning out wonderful pies that they really don't have time to touch up the paint. Seating is limited. We found a table in the loft, and it was just fine. It's counter service here, and the young lady who took our order was polite and efficient. Parking, by the way, is on the street or in one of the nearby garages. Most importantly, the pizza here is really good. The atmosphere reminded me of so many pizza joints in NYC, as did the pizza -- thin, foldable crust and a tomato-forward sauce. The cheese is top notch, as is the uber-thin pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. Slices are available, and seemingly popular, but we ordered a whole pie. I understand that this place is open until the crack of dawn for all the bar-goers. During our visit, however, we were the only customers without kids -- or infants. Yep. It was Romper Room for sure. All of that to say that drunks might get their 3 a.m. pizza fix here, but so too do young families patronize this place much earlier. Fun experience. Wonderful pizza.
