Dinner in Hong Kong...
Our friend, Andrew, is a member of the Hong Kong Golf Club and he wanted to bring our group to dinner here.
We walked on the putting green so that he could show us the outside of the building... because the building is 120 years old!
Andrew ordered fancy dishes like Peking Duck... it was made into two dishes. The first was crispy duck skin, wrapped in a thin crepe filled with plum sauce, cucumber, and green onion. The second was lettuce wraps filled with the duck meat and topped with plum sauce.
Other dishes included stewed veggies in hom ha (preserved shrimp) sauce, tofu with salted fish (hom ngee), shrimp with long rice, sweet sour pork, deep fried wrap with veggies, and baked Alaska for dessert. I didn't get some photos since I was with non-yelp people who just dig into the food... LOL!
Service was excellent! They filled our teapots with hot water and presented ouour Baked Alaska with flair!
Thanks to Andrew for this unique dining experience! read more
