We all scream for Hokkaido Ice Cream!!!…read more Really! We love it so much, we had these yummy Hokkaido soft serve 3 nights in a row. I Cremeria Cafe is located on the 4th floor - food court inside the Langham Place. Tip: take the express escalator to bypass the hustles of shoppers to the 3rd floor, and quickly take a short escalator ride to 4th floor and BAM, it's right there! I had Hokkaido fresh cream soft serve when I visited Japan a few years back, and I've always wanted to enjoy it again. It is not overly sweet like our very own Mr. Softie; the Hokkaido fresh cream is silky soft and has a natural sweetness. Love it so much! We've tried the soft serve in cones and cups; as well as the mix (matcha + cream). If my body allows it, I would have one everyday... alas, my metabolism just won't work with me. So 3 nights in a row was a heavenly treat!!!! #vacationweightdontcount #foodhumor LOL

The lavender ice cream signage caught our eye, but we ended up getting the vanilla ice cream topped with gold. The ice cream was really good, not too sweet or bland. Had a light vanilla flavor. You can't really taste the gold, and it really kind of melts as soon as it touches the ice cream, making for an incredible photo opp. Will for sure stop by again bc the ice cream wasn't bad, they have so much more on their menu to try too.

In Japan, soufflé pancakes are trendy and Hong Kong loves anything that is trendy. After a day of…read moreshopping and walking what it seemed to be miles in Mongkok, we finally found I Love You Dessert Bar. It's a 2018 Michelin Recommended Street Food, so I had to check it out. This place is not a sit down place. There are no tables inside, there is a 2 person counter outside the shop and chairs. You order inside and wait outside. They warn you that it's made to order which means it'll be a 15 minute wait or so. We ordered the mango pancakes with diced mangoes, vanilla ice cream, fresh cream and what seemed to be a ground up cookie. The pancake was light, fluffy and slightly sweet. It was complimented by the diced mangoes and ice cream. It also came with a paper Michelin man and I Love You Dessert cutout which of course made everything IG worthy. I love Asian desserts because they're not that sweet and this pancake was everything I expected and more.

It must be a newer dessert place since there was a huge line to get these tasty desserts. We just had an original one since they were sold out of mango. It was delicious! It was really light and came with some ice cream, whipped cream and a sauce on top. I liked it because it wasn't overly sweet. This place is definitely worth a stop.

I once went inside and sat at a table but their menu inside is strangely different than the menu up front. If you are like me and only care about the drinks and not the desserts, then just order up front and take it to go. When the whole mango sago trend started to hit the U.S. market (at around the same time) and a HLS opened in NYC, I was not all that impressed. More than often, I'd get overriped mangos topped over mediocre puree that tasted like a bad mix of cheap mango juice blended with some more overriped mangos and loads of sugar. This place has been sitting in my Yelp bookmarks for a loooong time and it was the closest thing I knew of when I was searching for something nice and cold in the area to cool off the sweat I was drenched in from April humidity. I got the Mango & Coconut Juice with Harsmar Jelly drink. I honestly didn't think it was spectacular or anything--if anything, it tasted like the crappy ones I can get at the HLS back home. A bit pricey for a drink (HKD $27) for Hong Kong standards...but standard pricing for the area. I also had the Mango & Aloe Jelly drink at the HLS in TST and it was also below average. Heavy and just overall sugar-loaded. I might've had anticipated too much and ended up disappointed, but I have also heard that the quality of HLS has deteriorated in the last few years. We don't have many drink variations at the mango places in NYC, but I honestly don't care for them now that I've tried a few different drinks. HLS is definitely more expensive in the busier parts of HK--I found the prices to be significantly cheaper as you go out further away. Might actually be worth paying the lower price and a trip to eat better-quality food.

It was SO good! Never thought about green tea ice cream, but when in China... The parlor was really upscale and nice. But there were a lot of people coming and going, so knew it must be good ice cream! Decent size place to get people in and out as well. The staff was really helpful, let you try different flavors and were very friendly. Easy check out as well. No seating inside the parlor, so you would need to find a bench if you didn't want to walk and eat the ice cream....if it lasts that long. Ha! Great choice...definitely try it out if in the area!

You're better off just asking an employee/service representation standing by the maps because you will go crazy attempting to navigate this mall on your own! - The cremadoro (hokkaido milk) cone was a bit too milky for my liking; skip. - The matcha cone was a bit better and the flavor was a bit more prominent, but then again...I've had better matcha ones elsewhere. - It's pricey!... but I'm sure you wouldn't mind because #1, you came here for the gold leaf and they give you a whole piece per order! - Space is limited to sit-down so you're better off grabbing to go.
