I got an iced Golden Oolong Milk Tea -- the golden bubbles and the oolong tea were good. You can customize amount of ice and sugar, I got less ice and 25% sugar. They seem to be pretty efficient and you can wait on the sidewalk by the fence and watch for your number in red, then go and pick up your drink when you see your number (...duh, mei. lol). At first I thought I would have to really listen for when they call my number, so this went much more smoothly than I expected. So I'm actually chewing the rest of the bubbles now as I write my review (note: there is an overwhelming amount of them left, so I will be asking for less next time) and I'm realizing they are a little chewier than I've had. Also, they are smaller bubbles--at least these golden ones anyway. I prefer the softer and larger bubbles...they have two other kinds of bubbles so I will be trying those soon hopefully and will report back!

I'm personally a big fan of that Taiwanese chain, so when I learned of this place, right in the heart of where I used to hang out as a teenager, I decided to stop by to see for myself. The tea was decent, but nothing stood out. I would call it average, since there has been many good places that opened up all over Hong Kong. Given how quickly these places open and close though, I'm surprised this one is surviving, especially in a very competitive corner of Mong Kok. It's worth a try when you are in the neighbourhood. But, really, why not just fly an hour away to Taiwan for all the deliciousness over there? Save your appetite while in Hong Kong for their other local delicacies.

First of all, for $20 HKD and such a large size for both milk tea drinks, it was an amazing deal. And for $22 HKD the kumquat lemon drink was also refreshing and fragrant. Sharetea impressed me so much because of the variety and the quality for the price. The amount of items you can choose from at a low price is awesome. And the milk teas actually taste like tea and not just milk like most boba places. Their milk tea and green milk tea were both sweet and milky while retaining the true taste of each type of tea. This combination along with the tasty texture of the boba really sells it for me. Their boba is a good size and flavor + there are so many!!! I've never gotten so much boba in a boba drink in my life! Secondly, the kumquat lemon drink was impressive because of how fresh the taste was. You can really tell it's made from real fruit and it's a great drink for sunny + humid day in Hong Kong if you're looking for something light. It's very sour though so make sure you like the taste of both kumquat and lemon before you order this drink. Apart from my favourite bubble tea as well as Taiwanese drinks, this shop is also serving tea egg (Did I missed tea egg from other stores? I have never saw any) and ice cream. The other shop that serves ice cream would be the one in Ma On Shan. They got two flavours, green tea and oolong tea, for us to choose from. If you have never tried their ice cream, I highly recommend the oolong tea ice cream. It tastes really special, literally like iced oolong tea! You need to try it! P.S. I saw with my own eyes the barista add a generous dosage of honey into my drink. He then mixed it well, added ice, and then put it in the blender for a few seconds. The drink had a very strong tea aroma. You could also taste the honey well. Even when the ice melted a little, the tea flavor was still very good! Great place for any sort of tea.
