I think this is a branch of a famous boba tea chain in Taiwan... but don't take my word for it :p I only heard it through the grapevines.
I'm personally a big fan of that Taiwanese chain, so when I learned of this place, right in the heart of where I used to hang out as a teenager, I decided to stop by to see for myself.
The tea was decent, but nothing stood out. I would call it average, since there has been many good places that opened up all over Hong Kong. Given how quickly these places open and close though, I'm surprised this one is surviving, especially in a very competitive corner of Mong Kok.
It's worth a try when you are in the neighbourhood. But, really, why not just fly an hour away to Taiwan for all the deliciousness over there? Save your appetite while in Hong Kong for their other local delicacies. read more
