Having visited the other two when CK's line is out the door, my advice is -- don't stray! Somehow, the exact same dessert item just won't taste as good when you eat at the other places, whether it's because the fruit isn't as fresh and sweet or the black pearl (basil seeds) are smaller and watered down. CK's gets so packed that in the evenings they take over the cafe immediately adjacent and seat patrons there too. There is a good selection of hot and cold desserts, from traditional ground sesame and tofu "soups", to fruits, tapiocas, and shaved icecreams. Best of all, the prices are a fraction of those at big chains like Hui Lau Shan and Honeymoon Desserts, roughly 20-30 HKD per item. Highly recommend.

Super chocolatey chocolate cake, a layer of ganache, mousse, and sponge cake, topped with cocoa powder. Quite the delight for chocolate lovers, and it's not outrageously sweet given all the layers. Pairing the two together, there's a small disconnect in flavour - more a personal preference. I think a cheesecake or yuzu cake may help accentuate the flavour of the drink. I could just imagine how the acidity may compliment each other. Ambience is decent, you can still read a book in peace although there is always crowds passing by being in the open space of a mall. Speciality drinks cost a bit more but I think it's worth the price for the craft. The black glutinous rice was fun compared to your standard white rice. Honeymoon is always solid, convenient, and easy. I'll definitely have withdrawals when I'm back in the states. The pudding is not necessarily the tenderest one I've tried, but it does have a very nice soy flavor which is often lacking in other places. There is yellow sugar, and bottles of syrup and ginger juice. I love ginger so that's great. When I was enjoying the tofu pudding, I noticed that they are packing the bowl pudding that just finished steaming. Normally it goes for $3 but if you make any purchase you can get one for $2. They also offer soymilk as well.

You'll be sitting basically elbow to elbow with strangers next and behind you. But that doesn't matter because their desserts are so wonderful! Some of my favorites are the tong yuen (glutinous rice balls) that come come with peanut sauce. The one that comes in the ginger soup is good too (for this dish, the balls have fillings inside, such as sesame or peanut sauce). Another good one is their sorbets, which are perfect for a hot day.

The taste of durian was also soften quite a bit, making this dish a bit more doable for those who do not like durian. I found this dish to be pretty tasty and not too sweet and it was unique to eat it with the crystal seeds. Overall, this is a great spot to stop by for desserts. The menu is simple and they've got most of the must-haves at dessert shops. They have a minimum spend per person if you are dining in, so beware if your group has a person who doesn't do sweet soups. The worst thing (or best thing) that could happen is you eat one for them. The tongsui we ordered were all very basic and while they were delicious, I couldn't tell if they were better or higher quality ingredients compared to other shops across Hong Kong. If I were to be in the area and wanting tongsui, then sure why not. But I am unsure if I would purposely take the train and walk here.
