This place is a gem. A great traditional pub in the middle of the East side of Hong Kong. This is…read morelocated in the lobby of an office building and has a great vibe and decor. There is great open seating and the arrangement has a big community feel. The menu is pretty straightforward with a large beer selection and typical pub fare available. Steak and frites were a popular choice as well as the mussels. They have many sauce options and the mussels are all served in steam pots with a side of really srunchu bread. I ordered them house style and they were prepared with cream garlic and chives. The half order was very large and very satisfying. My sister ordered the chicken parm and it was huge! Big enough for two to share certainly. The service here was excellent and I would return!

With a playgound and kids trucks, this place is a paradise for kids. Luckiy it's better on a Sunday night tonight, where only a few families were having dinner and around 10 kids running around (still tolerable). The food was suprisingly good. The crab starter was interesting, a bit spicy and very refreshing. We have ordered a ribs stew with truffle mashed potato, which was very yummy. The wife's sausage was good too but we were already stuffed. Satisfying overall.

Combined with the…read moremagical combination of well prepared southern chicken, it certainly made the dinning experience among the best. I enjoy going there when it is less busy, such as I the afternoon. During that time, you might get a taster before finalizing the selection. I can't really go wrong with serving beers when the service provided is outstanding. All I have to say is that the beers is fresh, cold and with great varieties. The chicken comes hot and moist. Crispy and perfectly seasoned with cajun style. Ask for spices as that really spiced it up. I personally really missed the Popeye chicken brand when I used to live in Canada. However, given a long search for good deep fried chicken in Hong Kong; tried many Korean chicken places and the popeye in HK airport, none of them is comparable. Yet the Round House has something way better than Popeye. Luckily, the Korean hype in Hong Kong is attracting the crowds to the Korean fried chicken. Now this local gem would be serving people truly appreciate the lovely married combination of Beers and Chicken.

This place is absolutely worthy in Hong Kong. 24 taps, and a little variety. I hate IPAs, and as…read moreusual, that category is well covered. But they have stouts, and imperial stouts. Definitely recommend the 'shadows of the mind' farmhouse dark, I think it's from carbon brews (which the list as an HK brewery). It's great. I only drink dark, so this category I know. The imperial Is a little too sweet for me.

Being that it's Hong Kong, my expectations are nil when it comes to remotely anything western --…read morewhich includes all things German evidently as well. TST has managed to see the opening of several German establishments over last few years, so why not a few more? 尖東 has effectively become a western melting pot of establishments with waterfront views and rapidly pricey area. Overall, Brotzeit surprised me. Decent beers on tap, much of which are largely German and epic platters that will satiate any big eater, and much like the rest of their neighbors: a revamped interior with indoor and outdoor spaces. Be it a casual drink meetup or an alternative dinner option, this place just works. The staff is comprised of mainly local folks with a good command of English. As expected, their German is virtually non-existent, save for a few beer names and their prominent dishes. Overall, they're efficient and friendly, which is as much as one can ask for in HK. Western fare will not come cheap and the same applies here. The bathrooms are two floors up in the TST Center and the views of Hong Kong are somewhat obscured by the highway barricades, but it won't diminish a good weather night. Come thirsty and preferably with good company.

OK this place gets major kudos for the waiter who informed us how to get a free Germain beer mug (…read morethe huge good quality ones, that typically will cost a few bucks)...needless to say our restaurant neighbors weren't pleased as their waiter didn't follow suit and I should add it was Oktoberfest so I don't think this practice is typical. I'm not really a fan of Germain sausages and such so we ordered a sampler, which was just OK, but the beer was tasty and at that moment that's all that mattered

I couldn't really read the QR code menu on my phone as the website wasn't too friendly in design for mobile navigation. They brought out a paper menu and it's a novel with pictures of every item! I decided to not go with their set lunches (three course soup/salad, mains, dessert or coffee). I just went for a beer and a crab/shrimp ball bite. It was delish and would def return for a more substantial meal. FYI, HH starts at 3pm where most of their beer and wine by the glass is close to 50% off!

I wanted to try the surf and turf Tuesday but they were sold out!! super disappointing! We came back for the mussels which are cooked properly, bathing in a broth of wine, olive oil, butter, parsley and stock. The fries were perfectly crispy and even work to dip into the broth. Although moule frites is the popular dish, I personally like to dip nice warm bread into the broth. Nothing better than soaking fresh bread in a tasty sauce.
