It's a store catered to the "western taste" so very tasteful, fashionable and clothes that are so well thought out that they can be used after baby has arrived! They have the loveliest lace dresses for evening events too! Mind you, items sold here are of great quality so expect to pay an average about 800-900 for a dress. At most you could spend 1,400 for a dress. But you will get LOTS of wear from it. So I'd consider it money well spent. They also carry beautiful maternity lace bras and underwear that average about 400 per bra. They also have lotions and organic oils and the bebe au lait breast feeding cover - the best breast feeding baby cover ever! If you want a in-store personal shopper, they offer this, so make an appointment. My new go to maternity store!

The Silver Cross shop at LCX does an extremely good job at selling themselves. The fact that the British Monarch's newest member sleeps and rides in their top of the line pram is already a free PR boost. The shop tops that off with the exact model they are using prominently placed at the front of the store - you really won't miss it as its so pompous that you'd have to be a Wales or Rockafeller to use one. At least it would just look out of place in Hong Kong where most houses are smaller than that. Prices aren't cheap but compared to some other brands their offering are actually quite moderate. Quality wise I would say quite good but their expertise seems to be the cross over they do with other brands-e.g Aston Martin. If you are looking for a bit of Britishness and class for a reasonable price then Silver Cross is for you.

I have been traveling through this airport for years and I only recently discovered this store on my last trip. So if you need to do a google search for more locations, search under the name "Living Plaza by Aeon". Back in New York, the Daiso chain has finally started to make an appearance on the east coast. Their stores are more concentrated in the west coast with a few in the mid west. The airport location is large for an airport store, with a variety of great products! I tell you this from a standpoint of having been abroad in Japan and having seen some of their Daiso locations myself. I feel the need to give this disclaimer: of course it is more cheaper to go visit Daiso in Japan (everything there will be priced starting at 100 yen). If that is not feasible to you, then visiting this store is more reasonable despite the higher cost. (12HKD = 166 yen approximately). After checking in our bags at Terminal 1, we actually walked back all the way to Terminal 2 with our carry-ons (walk took about 12-15 mins walking quickly) in order to visit this store before boarding our flight. If you time it right on your next trip, you too can have a mini speed shopping spree (save room in your carry-on if you can!). I will call this store a higher end dollar store; a dollar store on steroids if you will. They have travel pillows, typical travel accessories you would really need on your journey, but they also offer a great home section: home decor, home organization, kitchen; laundry section (I picked up a cute laundry bag!), a beauty section and much more. The stationary section is so cute. I couldn't decide which pens to buy so I just walked over to the wall and grabbed a whole bunch! They make great souvenirs too and since they are so unique everybody at work will know this pen only belongs to you and you only! As the other reviewer has commented on, the pricing starts at $12 HKD which is affordable. My laundry bag was on the pricier side of $60HKD but if you compare it to something you would buy at typically Bed Bath and Beyond or Target, then I still think it's better due to quality and price comparison. There is a whole section for toys, dishes/bowls, snacks, hobbies (sewing, gardening, etc) and random tools/gadgets. I had found this baby stroller S hook and a baby stroller blanket clamp to secure the blanket from falling out, something I had been searching for in a few Daiso locations in Japan couldn't locate. I gave these out to my expecting friends as gifts (I don't think it's something you think about or see often in use in the US). If I had more room in my suitcase I would have shopped more. The store wasn't crowded when we stopped by and the cashier was friendly and courteous. I believe they accept Octopus card payment/Cash/Credit Card. Left a hefty balance on your Octopus card? Spend it here! For those of you returning to the East Coast, Daiso currently has two stores open: one in Edgewater, NJ by Mitsuwa Market and another in Skyview Center in Flushing, NY (both stores opened in 2019). If items are not marked with a specific price, then it's assumed to be only HK$12! Most other items that are pricier, like a travel neck pillow will run approximately HK$25 and thick nylon tote bags with zippers for around HK$60. All still very affordable for an airport store! The shop is always neatly organized and the employees are polite and speak English. A plastic shopping bag will run you $0.50. I could spend hours here, but alas, there's a flight to catch!

The shop itself is usually quiet (being upstairs to begin with) and the staff are more than happy to demonstrate the range of products available. The range is not limited to prams and playpens, it also sells small items such as books and small toys which is convenient for anyone in Central just wanting to pick out a few things. Indeed there are many shops similar to this one springing up all over town with that many brands to match. Cosmo Beebies differ from the majority of these new shops as a more practical choice for parents who want good quality products, stylish items yet at reasonable prices.

Aside from their own brands, they also sell other products such as prams, car seats and a whole host of other items to cater for parents who have no idea what they should be getting. The shops are uniform in design- you will always recognize the shops by their clean cut (always white with wooden floors) and warm design; the general idea seems to be make you feel at home as much as possible. Their main emphasis is on cots and prams- these items take up around 3/4 quarters of this particular shop in Tsuen Wan and most people do come here for that. In some other shops they may even have a demonstration area for car seats and they actually have a seat taken from a car to show you how to fit the seat in. Pricing wise they will not be the cheapest in town but if you could not be bothered to search high and low for one single item and then repeat everything for the next; this is a pretty good place to start with. As mentioned the other brands that they sell are all European brands (eg. Maxi-Cosi) so quality should not be an issue. The sales staff are very helpful and you see this physically as they always haul everything down for you to see no matter which high or heavy that item is. If you plan to buy $4000 or more then you should join their club as that will give you an extra discount instantly.

I got a pair of bunny socks for 12 HK$ and some red envelopes with Cony on them - thanks to Irene for pointing them out! She even went upstairs and found a Cony and Brown notebook set for 30 HK$! Wow! It was on sale because it was the last one. I found a bunny towel that can squish into my luggage. I wasn't able to get any cute containers with Sanrio character... My luggage is packed already! Haha! This store was a bit crowded as aisles are not wide and customers are looking at items and blocking tthe way. There were many interesting finds!

Stitch, Mickey, Donald & Daisy with red and gold Chinese sayings were an easy souvenir pick up. Just a few bucks and everything was reasonably priced. I ended up getting pens I had not seen in the US, some stationary items, keychains, and buy 4 get 1 free sticker. The latter if you are remotely into sticker collection will blow your mind. You have to go downstairs and it is wall to wall sheets of stickers. Every animal imaginable, food, pets, shapes, sports, etc. Averages out to $1.50 USD per sheet; I got 3 different penguin sheets! Score for me. :) The cashier did not speak English but the register display is very large. Worked out fine for me since I only had to pay.

Like all shops in SSP, Tak Cheung Co obviously understands the value of a good business card - you WILL need help to find the same store twice. But theirs is one of the most helpful I've collected on many visits to the area. In fact, it's the one I present to taxi drivers whenever I go to SSP, just so I know where I am when I start and can orientate myself for the rest of the expedition, kind of. Of course one then has to pop in to the store to see what's on offer ... It would be rude not to.
