What's on at the bazaar changes weekly - it could be sportswear featuring brands like Adidas, Nike and Puma one week, and female fashion like Juicy Couture and DKNY the next. Items here are normally last season's stuff, and are usually upwards of 50% off. A few months ago, my mother managed to snag a Marc By Marc Jacobs wallet here for around $300, which is about a third of the original price! The particular one that she picked out only had one left, so she got really lucky there. Because it's a bazaar, things are placed a little erratically here and you'll literally be scrambling for bargains. You'll see tops and jackets all piled on top of each other, so it's quite hard to get a good look especially when it's crowded. I've also noticed that a lot of the stuff is only available in size L or XL - the least popular sizes, I would assume - I remember finding a cardigan here the other day but the only remaining size was an XL! Another thing is that the salespeople are a little apathetic and don't know much about what's being sold. Some are usually off in a corner playing with their phones or chatting to each other, so they may not be the most useful if you need help. Also, it's clear sometimes that what's being sold here is just last season's rejects - that overly neon-printed handbag and tacky top with the logo plastered all over it says it all. There've been times when I've walked in and walked out within 5 minutes, just disappointed at the range and knowing I won't be able to find anything to my liking. Despite this, I still never give the bazaar a miss whenever I'm in or even just near Times Square, unless it's something boring like Samsonite suitcases (which they've actually done a couple of times). For clothes and accessories, I've seen them feature brands like Kate Spade, Miss Sixty, Armani Exchange, Club Monaco and many more. Even though 80% of the stuff may be tacky leftovers from the last season, it's still worth checking out the 20% that aren't!

The shops are uniform in design- you will always recognize the shops by their clean cut (always white with wooden floors) and warm design; the general idea seems to be make you feel at home as much as possible. Their main emphasis is on cots and prams- these items take up around 3/4 quarters of this particular shop in Tsuen Wan and most people do come here for that. In some other shops they may even have a demonstration area for car seats and they actually have a seat taken from a car to show you how to fit the seat in. Pricing wise they will not be the cheapest in town but if you could not be bothered to search high and low for one single item and then repeat everything for the next; this is a pretty good place to start with. As mentioned the other brands that they sell are all European brands (eg. Maxi-Cosi) so quality should not be an issue. The sales staff are very helpful and you see this physically as they always haul everything down for you to see no matter which high or heavy that item is. If you plan to buy $4000 or more then you should join their club as that will give you an extra discount instantly.

It reminded me of a sort of step down from a J. Crew. Straight up, most of my stuff is purchased online or at a non-mall type shop, so it was actually a bit out of my zone. Nonetheless, we walked out of there with 5 matching shirt that we ended up wearing on the plane a few days later. Bear on bike has worked itself into my rotation, and ultimately we were happy to have ended up at the spot. If you walk by it, it is probably worth going into!

The store is always clean and modern, smells nice and no sales person will bother you with greetings while you peruse. The biggest selling point are the prices! Even though they are made in China products with a made in Japan label, you will find that the quality and aesthetic is pleasing at very affordable prices! Miniso also carries high-end knockoffs at a fraction of the price, like their perfumes, headphones, cell phone accessories, electronic facial cleaning brushes, and humidifiers. They also carry small leather goods and sleek handbags and back packs, for all under HK$129. It's a fantastic store for small household goods like hand towels, vanity mirrors, and home fragrance. I picked up a non-Bluetooth selfie stick and stick and very cute nail polish for cheap! My only issue about this location is extremely narrow and crowded. It's very uncomfortable to walk around if there are a lot of shoppers as you're trying to navigate on top of each other.

For the most part, there are different styles of clothes on the different racks. They organized their clothes by color and the type of clothing, so white tops were on one rack, black bottoms were below, etc. Usually there are just one size, which they call "free size." Once you find something you like you have to tell the lady you want it so she can radio it in on the headset so she can bring you a brand new one that is still in the plastic package. I kind of like this concept because you know you are getting a brand new item to take home, one that doesn't have everyone's nasty oils on it. :P They also have a clearance section. If you thought you'd be overwhelmed with the main part of the store, just wait until you go to the clearance section! This is overwhelming..lots of clothes everywhere that's only organized by type like tops and bottoms. They also have accessories throughout the store like cute hats, handbags, wallets and jewelry. They have a very small shoe selection as well. When we went they had a promotion that if you spent over a certain amount you could get a free glass Tupperware! We spent over the amount and got it, but was too heavy to carry around to the other countries we were visiting so we left it with our cousin in HK. I thought that was a really cool promotion!

My general feeling about Eugene baby is that they do cater to the Hong Kong mother, generally - the Asian mother. (As opposed to Bumps to Babes, which seems like they cater to the USA) Eugene carrys a lot of asian brands that I couldn't find elsewhere such as the bottle brand Pigeon - which is a Japanese company. They also carry a good amount of maternity pillows, breast pumps, and baby carriers. They don't have a big selection of baby foods such as food pouches, and baby formula. They have some, but you can find a better selection elsewhere. With all that they carry, I still feel like I need to go to another store.
