There are some shops that you just don't go to until you reach a certain position or age- Mothercare is certainly one of those places.
Mothercare- as its name suggests- you can tell that the shop sells everything that a baby would need. I used to think that Mothercare only sold baby clothes, judging from the front of the store. As you can tell I never ventured in and I made myself a solemn promise that I would never go unless I really need to. Neither would I walk in there with a girlfriend just in case she starts getting ideas.
Now a fully fledged daddy, Mothercare has been a godsend to me because this is one of those places where you can literally stock up on everything. Apart from clothes, they sell prams, cots, toys, books and just about everything that screaming bundle of joy would need as he grows up. Saves me from having to run around which is something I appreciated very much in the first 2-3 months of parenthood.
The other good thing with Mothercare is that they do good products at good prices; catch them on a right day when they are on sale and you will be able to bag yourself some really good value items.
This particular shop in LCX is bright, big and in the middle of the mall which makes it much more convenient. The only drawback is that if you were arriving by car, you might as well carry that pram down as the elevators are tiny and you have to make about a million twists and turns. read more
