Within 10 mins of speaking with the Dr. he knew what my issue was, he explained how he was going to correct/adjust and then he went to it. It was immediate relief and he was able to address my back and front ribs which were giving me shoulder rotation pain. I had a chiropractor in California who was able to do this but he moved to Hawaii, so I was thankful this Dr. was able to relieve not only my neck and upper back pain but also the rib adjustments were a pleasant surprise and reiief. I will definitely come back when I'm in HK next year again.

Dr Kelly comes from a family of Chinese and western doctors- the Chain ancestors were doctors back in Ching Dynasty and her husband Dr Chain is a doctor. Her philosophy is blending traditional Chinese medicine with western alternate medicines like aromatherapy and various natural supplements. She also sells Chinese healing herbal teas packaged in western convenience- shrink wrapped tea bags that fits easily into purses for regular consumption. The clinic also boasts a stone energy chamber which facials and yoga classes are held for energy optimization. The treatments were very helpful in stabilizing my mom's symptoms. On top of that, the environment of Chain's is extremely warm, inviting, and calming. I love this place! Chain's has been in existence for literally hundreds of years - since the Qing Dynasty. It doesn't get much more legit than that, right? Dr. Kelly Chain and her husband head up the clinic, and they do a bang-up job. They not only offer the usual acupuncture/cupping/Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments, but they also have branched out into beauty treatments, such as natural anti-aging (i.e., no botox, fillers, and all that other nasty shit that you see SO MUCH OF in Hong Kong . . . ugh) and spa-type treatments. They even offer a yoga class, which takes place in their "stone chamber," a room made of maifan stone with special energetic healing properties. If you're feeling really shitty and come in for a cupping and/or acupuncture treatment, they'll set you up in the stone chamber to give you a little bit of a boost from your treatment (and not upcharge you for it). I started coming to Chain's for cupping/acupuncture/TCM on a weekly basis, after I saw the results on my mom. The results were incredible. Without delving into too much detail, Dr. Kelly and her colleague Dr. Kay Tam (she is phenomenal!!!) were able to rebalance my chi using needles and TCM, and they corrected a hormone imbalance that I had been struggling with for YEARS due to my refusal to "correct" it with western medicine (sorry western doc, but you ain't gonna just put me on The Pill and think that's gonna solve all my problems). I also came down with probably the worst flu of my life while I was living in Hong Kong, and Dr. Kay Tam fixed me up good as new with 2 cupping treatments, a bunch of acu-needles, and TCM. Chain's has made me an acu/TCM addict (in a good way!), and I will be getting my fix every time I return to Hong Kong to visit. Of course she also treats patients or other illnesses. She is super caring and understands western medical theories very well too. I also come for Acupunture treatments. What I like best about Dr Ho's practice was their clients scheduling! Unlike other Chinese doctor experiences, I never had to wait long to see her! Big props for great time management! She uses the powder form of Chinese meds for you to take home which is also a plus. Saves you time to boil Chinese meds, instead just add hot water to the customized prescribed powder form meds. There are 4 private rooms for Acupunture treatments too. They dim the light and play relaxing music during Acupuncture treatment. I manage to fall asleep every time without fail. Overall wonderful experience with Dr Ho and the nurses there. I would highly recommend Dr Ho to anyone.

I've worked both in emergency ambulance services, as well as the hospital side of things. I'm giving this a 3-star review for lack of a better opinion. I come to HK multiple times a year for business and this time I happened to get sick with a lung infection, and suddenly in the middle of the night I lost my ability to speak and started coughing vehemently. Looked up emergency services and this was one of the closest. It's a huge hospital and the facilities are pretty clean. But the emergency department nurse told me there's a wait time of AT LEAST 8 hours. That's really the longest I've seen someone have to wait. I understand an emergency department needs to triage, and yes, of course there were cases that were more critical than me. But I also expect a public hospital to be staffed well enough to not have patients waiting for over an hour or two. The nurse suggested that I try a private hospital, which I did, not wanting to wait (at least) 8 hours and miss my next day's business meetings. So I took her advise, and waited about 10 minutes at a private hospital close by, got examined for less than 5 minutes from the on-duty physician, and was on my way out of there with medicine in hand (antibiotics, cough medicine, and masks to avoid getting others sick) in under 1hr. I'm sure having a couple additional on-duty physicians to take care of cases that are quick and simple will go a long way to quickly solve this issue.

I actually visited several Mannings outlets there, but since I bought the most items in the HK International Airport, this outlet is what I chose to review. That, and because I forgot the locations of the other outlets. For starters, they offer good discounts on selected personal care items, such as 70% off on luxury face creams or 50% off on hair care products. And these products aren't your throwaway brands; these are decent mid-range products that you can use every day. Anyway, I was on the last leg of our vacation and still with a wad of HK$ to spend on myself. Sure I could save them, but I didn't fly all the way to HK and convert my cash just to decide to reconvert it to PHP at the last moment. I wanted to convert my cash into skincare: cash gets saved, my face gets wrinkled - where's the fun in that? So I raided the store for various creams, serums, lip balms, and masks on sale, only to find out at the checkout counter that I was short by HK$50. I forgot that I blew a portion of my money on chocolates a few floors away. Glutton. Apologizing profusely, I prepared to withdraw my purchases, but the cashier dumped my items on the counter. "Nonono!" she exclaimed in heavily accented English. "You take away what you don't need, yah? Then I count again for you. S'okay, yah?" I threw out the lip balms (who needs duck lips anyway, when ducks don't even have lips). I was still short by HK$26. Panicked, I fished out a bunch of loose extra coins from my purse. The cashier continued, "I count your coins for you, yah?" And luckily, I had enough to cover the rest of my purchases. No way was I letting go of that collagen serum because my eyebags won't let go of my face. So all bills spent, with a few leftover coins rattling in my pocket, I happily trotted off to better skin and brokedom. Thanks, Mannings, for your helpful staff and cool products.
