As we sat down, my partner noticed obvious stain on the plates. We told the waitress and she replaced it without a single word. No apology, like this happens all the time. Food tastes bland. We ordered grilled seabass which is not properly processed that it is stinky. It is absolutely disgusting. Lobster Bisque tastes like burnt coal for some reason. I would never have imagined that this cuisine could be a fail. We ordered brocolli and mashed potato on the side. The vegetable is again bland. We left the restaurant after only a few bites. gross.

We got there right at noon and was able to grab a nice seat near the window without a reservation. The view was amazing and the service was wonderful as well. I ordered the Algarve salad as an appetizer, and the Portuguese cuttlefish stew as the main course. Everything was delicious with large portions. They were definitely very generous with the cuttlefish! The salad was very flavorful, and I love the dressing; complements the greens very well. The sauce that came with the cuttlefish was so tasty as well! However, the best part of the entire meal was definitely the fresh Portuguese egg tarts at 1 pm. The servers rang the "fresh out of the oven" bell, and we immediately ordered 4 freshly baked egg tarts. They were absolutely heavenly! The dough on the outside was crispy, and the egg yolk filling was so creamy and not overly sweet. A perfect ending to a delicious lunch!

Sometimes good things come by surprise. Have seen this place…read morefor a while but thought that this is more a tourist place. Sorry - Casa Lisboa - I did. you wrong - first visit and you are one of my top Restaurants in Hong Kong.. I had a seat at the bar and I was able to see all the preparations and I could smell all the good ingredients. The team takes a lot effort into details when preparing the food. They have an open kitchen, the team is busy but the way of working was very positive to watch, no shouting and the team members are smiling and seem to enjoy the work. The service team is friendly and takes also attention on the needs of the guest - a rare thing in Hing Kong. I had a Seasonal Salad and a suckling pig. Both dishes have been prepared perfectly and I loved each bite. The restaurant has a good wine selection, obviously focuses on wines from Portugal. The wine I selected as good, markup would a around 2,5 to the retail price, which is normal in Hong Kong. If you like food where quality of the food the ingredients are the star, this is a place to go.

Casa Lisboa is one of the only Portuguese restaurants in the city unless you go to Macao and it was decent. There were two highlights, the suckling pig and the octopus. The octopus was tender but charred a tiny bit on the outside. The suckling pig was amazing. Crispy skin with succulent meat and fat underneath. The rest of the dishes were ok. Seems a bit more like Spanish food but maybe that's on us for not getting the bacalao or something dinstinctly portuguese. Still solid dishes. Upon entering, you decide which restaurant you want, place your order, and then you're given a number. While waiting for your food to arrive, you need to find a table and hope that the waiter sees your number quickly amongst the other 100 patrons dining at the moment. I ordered the curry beef tendon soup with rice. I would much prefer to have it in the bread bowl but with being gluten-free that is not an option. My order came out and I couldn't wait to dig into my curry beef tendon. I started searching in the bowl with my spoon and discovered that there is a ton of tendon and only two pieces of beef. Where's my meat? The bread bowl arrived almost 10 minutes later served in aluminum foil and with plastic gloves. Plastic gloves? What is this a crawfish boil? The bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with beautiful chunks of beef cradled in the center. The yellow curry sauce is served in a bowl on the side. Since I finished well before my husband, I had the pleasure of watching him savor most of his meal. It now dawned on me what the plastic gloves were for; to prevent you from making a mess of your hands while dipping the warm bread in the yellow curry sauce. Good thing I had my handy, dandy wipes on me! The tomato soup was delicious. It's thin, water-like, but bursting with flavor. It tastes like juice from a delicious pot roast your grandmother would make infused with onion. Note: this is not vegetarian tomato soup and I'm pretty sure they used juice from the beef to make it.

Their instant noodle is excellent and comes as a morning or breakfast set, which is very reasonable. Besides the instant noodle, toast, and milk tea that comes with each of the sets, this place is also well known for their Portuguese Egg Tarts. That is what one of my uncles told me years ago, when I first ate here. He told me that it is way better than the ones that you will have in Macau. And he was right. Yes, I couldn't resist having one the last time that I ate here over a year ago. It is a place where folks eat quickly, either before going off to work or before boarding the ferry to Macau. I would definitely recommend this place.

There's no doubt about it; this is a modern, sophisticated, capitalist society; when you go to Hong…read moreKong, it's intense, busily frenetic and this harbour (like the ultra modern airport) efficiently caters for millions of folks on the move and moving trillions of dollars of trade world wide. It's no wonder Trumpskie and his radge hangers-on fear the growth of China. I'm certain that it's only a matter of time before they do take the USA on trade wise perhaps militarily because of Trumpskie - he won't bully them nor sell them down the river as if they didn't matter, and this dolt is messing around with trade worth $200 trillion dollars annually using people who don't know what they are doing who seem to think it's just an episode of Game of Trump and they have no certainty on what their end game is. Let's see how he fares after a tariff-induced inflation shock and a stock market slump and for those who voted for him allowing the madness I can say that the price of eggs is not coming down. I expect Europe's 500 million population will look elsewhere to buy their goods - we know when we ain't wanted. This modern terminal is world away from the insanity in the not so White House. It is the main point of departure for ferries to Macau, although services also operate from the Hong Kong-China Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui and from Hong Kong International Airport - for transiting passengers only. The terminal is one of the several in Hong Kong that provide ferry services to Macau and cities in southern China. There's a helicopter service provided to Macau, with charter services to other regional destinations. The terminal utilises two island piers, each with several ferry docks, linked by enclosed pedestrian bridges to the ticketing and departure/arrival hall facilities in the lower levels of the Shun Tak Centre on the shore. The heliport is located above the inner pier, whilst the Hong Kong Vessel Traffic Centre, which monitors and regulates vessels navigating in the waters of Hong Kong, is located above the outer pier. Really impressive.
