However, this shopping centre gets intensely packed. We visited on a Monday, and it was still way too crowded inside. The combination of the heavy crowds and the unique spiral layout actually made me feel a bit dizzy while navigating the floors. On the plus side, there is a great variety of shopping options, from upscale retailers to trendy boutiques, along with a movie theater and plenty of standalone restaurants. That being said, the actual food court area felt surprisingly small for a mall of this scale. We ultimately didn't spend much time here because it was a bit overwhelming, and we preferred to walk around the vibrant open-air spots nearby in Mong Kok. It is worth a quick look for the design, but be prepared for major foot traffic.

It is also connected to the Hong Kong Botanical Garden, which was a very nice visit as well :) During last December 2025, Pacific Place had a mall promotion- the more you spend, the more you save! You also get gifts when you spend and reach a certain amount tier. Definitely attracted a lot of customers to shop and spend. The mall also set up a special donation booth for donating to the devastating fire that broke out in Tai Po in November 2025. In return, you will get a cute Christmas decor (blind box). The staff at the booth was very patient and helpful. The Great Food Hall in the basement is also a must-visit supermarket for foreign snacks and delicious eats!

The maps aren't super helpful and it is way too easy to get lost. We didn't have a ton of time to spend here, and we felt like we wasted most of it just trying to figure out where we were.

There are a couple convenience stores by the bus terminal as well as a bakery and a number of grocery, meat and produce shops. Even a dry cleaner. If you are looking for something along the lines of clothing and electronics, you will need to head elsewhere like New Town Plaza. But for the bare necessities, it is nice to know that you don't have to travel too far if you live at Chevalier Garden. You can simply go downstairs.

Okay mom, it's their country and their culture, so relax. God will meet them where they are when it's time. Clean restrooms and very modern. I'd love to come back and visit again because they had a beverage place that serves drinks in a coconut husk, which is what mom really wanted to try. They also have a cool pub like place and I was wanting some wings. The only down side I'd see for locals is having to work their way around all the tour buses that pull up here and take up some road, but for me, it was fun.

I'll make sure to come on an empty stomach next time. The mall is considered big compared to the neighboring shopping centers in Tin Shui Wai, and there's even a huge bookstore on the top floor. But I think there are less and less apparel shops with each passing year. It's connected to the Tin Fu station on the light rail. But I think it's only worth a visit if you're already in the area. Don't specifically come all the way here from Hong Kong island lol!

We ventured out here to get a feel of a more residential area Hong Kong area and one easily accessible by the MTR. As seems typical of Hong Kong's newer malls, it is clean and bright, well maintained, busy, accessible by the MTR, has lots of mid-priced (as opposed to high end luxury) shops and eateries, and also has a connected hotel, in this case both a Crowne Plaza and a Holiday Inn. We enjoyed our visit here and getting a lot of mall fitness steps in while at it. It does appear true that the further out from Hong Kong proper one goes, it does become slightly more laid back, slightly less crowded, and slightly less intense on the hustle and bustle.
