It is also connected to the Hong Kong Botanical Garden, which was a very nice visit as well :) During last December 2025, Pacific Place had a mall promotion- the more you spend, the more you save! You also get gifts when you spend and reach a certain amount tier. Definitely attracted a lot of customers to shop and spend. The mall also set up a special donation booth for donating to the devastating fire that broke out in Tai Po in November 2025. In return, you will get a cute Christmas decor (blind box). The staff at the booth was very patient and helpful. The Great Food Hall in the basement is also a must-visit supermarket for foreign snacks and delicious eats!

Really, I believe anyone would enjoy just wandering around and seeing the beautiful things in here. I did -- and I didn't even buy anything. The food court on the bottom level is also fairly good. As I was trying to get my student card ready, I was in Mong Kok trying to find that place but I ended up getting lost somewhere and had to resort to ask for help. The way he told me where that was made it sound like everyone knew where Argyle Centre was. Well, not for me. I seriously had no idea where that was. I just kept asking everyone along the way. Thankfully I made it. Turns out Argyle Centre is one of those malls for teens. I realized that teenage girls love coming here and I can tell by the number of people in this tiny little small here. You can see all kind of shops and I seriously do not think that any guys would come here as most shops here sell heels, accessories, dresses and basically women's stuff. So to be honest, I was literally the odd man out surrounded by all those girls. Anyway, the stuff here is extremely cheap. Well normally for guys, my shirt alone would cost me a few hundreds, but here a dress only costs around HKD$50. Wow! Are you serious? Well, design and taste aside... you can still buy lots of cheap stuff here. However, I believe everyone knows this place better than I do. I am so ashamed to call myself a local at this point. So if you are looking for decent clothes at a cheaper price, come here then.

Argyle Center is teenage shopping heaven. It's shop after shop and floor after floor of trendy…read moreclothes and accessories, all at EXTREMELY affordable prices. And I can't stress this enough - we're talking earrings for $10, shorts for $30 kind of cheap! Argyle Center is about a five minutes' walk from the MTR station. It's pretty easy to find your way - or you could just follow that group of teenagers in front of you because that's probably the way they're heading. The variety of things at Argyle is endless. You can find anything from backpacks with huge dolls attached to them to bags appropriate for you to bring for work - that's how much choice you'll have there. The mall is obviously catered to teenagers, but I don't think anybody could possibly leave here empty handed! Don't worry, it's not just all clothes and accessories - you can also find really fun novelty items and gifts there, like drinking games sets, offensive but funny cards and prank toys. If you're a fan of Korean pop music, you'll be able to find some shops that sell Korean celebrities merchandise like badges and posters. A word of caution though: some of the things here can be pretty tacky and cheap-looking - you'll see a lot of bright t-shirts with badly spelled words that make no sense and bags with so many studs nobody should be let within a metre-radius of them. But once in a while, you'll see a decent looking sweater or a necklace that doesn't look half bad. Most shopkeepers are willing to bargain, so you can get things cheaper than they already are! If there's a defect in something you want and it's the last remaining piece, don't be afraid to ask for a discount - you'll almost definitely get one! At all costs, do NOT come on a weekend because this place will be super crowded! You won't be able to browse much because you'll be knocking elbows with others who are trying to get a close look too, and it really just isn't worth coming on a weekday. Come on a weekday because there will be significantly less people! The key to shopping at Argyle is to be patient - you'll see some seriously tacky clothes, and you'll be bumping into other people because the mall isn't huge - but persistence is key! Poke around long enough and I'm sure you'll leave with a couple of good buys!

Shopping and dining in Hong Kong…read more.. Our group decided to walk over to Ocean Terminal for dinner. There are so many restaurants! Luckily, there was a staff at the directory who helped guide us around this enclosed, air-conditioned shopping plaza. We decided on a Korean restaurant, but couldn't find it. We walked the entire length of the Terminal with no result. We ended up at a different Korean restaurant. After dinner, we looked at some of the shops, but they were more of the high-end type. We did enjoy the views at the end of the Terminal!

Day 9 and 10 Exalted East Asia Cruise on Oceania Riviera…read more We cruised into rainy Victoria Harbour in the early afternoon and docked at Kowloon's Tsim Sha Tsui Ocean Terminal. We planned a nighttime shore excursion on an open-top bus and waited to see if the weather would clear before canceling. However, we'd peek outside to see if the rain, lightning, and thunder would lighten up. Still, after several hours, we decided to cancel the excursion because of safety and comfort concerns. Luckily, before canceling our shore excursion, we disembarked across the covered gangway into the Ocean Terminal/Harbour City Shopping Center. The Ocean Terminal is directly connected to the secure Hong Kong Immigration and Customs Agency and the Harbour City shopping center. The immigration and customs agents checked our Landing Cards (Hong Kong no longer stamps your passport for entry or exit) and did random temperature checks. The agents were polite and kind to direct passengers into the Harbour City Shopping Center or outdoors towards conveniently waiting taxis or transportation. There was free WiFi service, but I used a personal/private mobile hotspot (5G GlocalMe), which I had to register with the Hong Kong Government before leaving the ship during our two-day stay. The Harbour City shopping center had many high-end retail stores (fashion, beauty, jewelry, electronic, furniture, home, sports, and specialty) featuring popular international and American brands, a supermarket, banks, and various ethnic restaurants. We were impressed with the helpful concierge services that offered maps and shopping recommendations to lost or overwhelmed tourists. There were a lot of residents mixed in with visitors, and seeing the masses of shoppers made me think about the state of Hong Kong's economy and the cost of living. We wandered around for a few hours after purchasing some snacks at City Super. We considered dining at Reserva Ibérico (Spanish tapas), HEXA, or DUCK Victoria (Cantonese) before returning to our cruise ship to cancel our attendance for the night shore excursion. My husband's friends (husband & wife) joined us on this cruise and wandered Harbour City with us before I suggested the guys return onboard, cancel out from the excursion, and then return to the shopping center to have dinner onshore. After fifteen minutes, I received a frantic text from my husband and his friend asking for directions back to the ship. I laughed because he confidently said he could find his way back but admitted he got confused. After asking which store he was closest to, I knew he had taken a wrong turn and went to another level. He righted himself after I gave him directions. He sent me a text confirming his return onboard and told me to continue browsing before returning. To my surprise, he made reservations at Oceania Riviera's French restaurant, Jacques (Pépin), instead of eating at one of the Chinese restaurants in Harbour City. I continued browsing with my husband's friend's wife and ran into several other tour group passengers from Hawai'i who shared their discoveries within this gigantic shopping center. The other women and we said we could and would make roaming around the Harbour City Shopping Center as destination they'd return to and the Ocean Terminal serves as the best access for first-time visitors to Hong Kong.

From high-end brands like Burberry to Nike, along with many local and international stores offering big discounts. As a visitor and first-timer, the mall was a little confusing to navigate at first, but it's very convenient since it's directly connected to the Tung Chung station. There are also restaurants and additional shops outside of the mall area, which gives the area a lively atmosphere. Both the Novotel Citygate Hong Kong and The Silveri Hong Kong hotels are attached, making it super convenient for travelers. One thing about Hong Kong, there are lots of shopping malls. This one I wasn't too impressed with.

I ordered the Tofu and mushroom salad, Thai Chicken skewers, Thai Wings and a strawberry and guava smoothie. The food had amazing flavor and was delicious. Of the dishes the Tofu salad was the best. The Tofu was seasoned and cooked perfectly as were the mushrooms. The portions were large enough and priced accordingly. It's definitely a place I'd recommend when visiting Hong Kong if you're looking to kill a little time before your flight.

You can call it whatever you like…read more.. I am a tourist and this trap got me smiling...yass a shopping center! Who knew about this...not me but luckily we were guided by locals which are a friend of a friend and both Andrew and Cindy did an amazing job taking us around the island and choosing this stop not just to take a much needed break for restrooms and something to drink as well since it was a very hot day viewing the scenery. Parking is a challenge here though many seem to take the tram or bus getting here which I just can't imagine as it certainly is accessible but never imagine is a spot to be to get the "Peak" views which we were told is not necessary and is a tourist trap and instead to a short walk to the back of the mall to Lion's Pavilion down Findlay Path which offers a fantastic view at no cost which was fast and easier than what I understand going up The Peak Tower Sky Terrace. Lots of shops from Starbucks to Mcdonald's though it was grabbing a cup of fresh tea made gave me the happy moment reviving the exhaust in me and on this Sunday afternoon there were many families here to enjoy the various activities and can see why many to flock over here unless you're an introvert, it's a great place to relax, enjoy and just take in the lovely view for all ages. We went in early Dec 2023 on a Sunday around 3 PM (1500) and the place was packed! We were hoping to catch a glimpse of the sunset while we were up there and I'm sure others were keen on that as well! Note: We did not have to wait in a long line to get the entry fare for the tram to the peak because we used our Octopus cards. I believe the tram cost was also discounted for Octopus card users. Anyway, the Peak Galleria is a beautiful modern mall situated at the top of Victoria Peak. There were plenty of eateries, cafes, restaurants, and stores to peruse from. The mall was clean, and bright.
