This was my favorite meal in Hong Kong! They're known for their dry chicken pot which intrigued me because I've never heard of it before. Reservations are recommended due to the popularity of this restaurant but they were able to seat us when we walked in without one.
There's only one English menu available and I was a little confused on how to order. Luckily, they had an English speaking waitress that was able to help us with recommendations! To order, you can choose to do a dry chicken pot only or a dry chicken pot + hot pot. We opted for the latter since this was a new experience. You also choose between a whole or half chicken, different cuts of the chicken (drum, breast, thighs, or mix), and spice level. We ordered half a chicken with thighs only and a medium spice level. The chicken was so flavorful and tender!
After we finished the chicken, we selected our soup base and ordered meat and veggies to begin the hot pot course. The hot pot was pretty standard and not much stood out to me. If I were to go again, I'd only do the dry chicken pot, but definitely recommend doing both if its your first time! read more
