I would describe Klook as a travel deals company similar to Groupon and Viator. However, the focus is specifically on discounts for transportation, tours and local attractions. There are deals available worldwide though, including in Seattle where I reside. But the company is most popular in Asia. I think Klook is notable as it is one of the best places to buy a JR Rail Pass for travel in Japan online. This is actually how I learned of the company in the first place. As for searching for deals in Klook, I find the pricing is great on some offerings, but regular priced on others. It might cost a little more than buying directly from the provider. I have utilized Klook primarily for transportation like buying a monorail day pass in Okinawa and airport train rides in Seoul. The monorail day pass was a little burdensome to use as it required you to show your phone at each station to enter and exit, rather than redeeming for a physical ticket. And I recently went on a tour in Thailand to Ayutthaya via Klook, which was a great deal albeit very tiring since it took up the whole day. So far, I have had a good experience with Klook and will continue to check their site and app when trying to book transportation and tours in Asia. read more

Don't use Klook Left my family stranded at Abu Dhabi Booked a half day city tour for pick up at Grand Hyatt at 10-10:30. Waited in lobby from 9:45 to 10:30. No one showed up. Called local number- the driver claimed that pick up was 9:00am. They claimed driver waited from 9:15 to 10- which was a lie because there was no one. Called Klook- said they need to investigate before issuing refund. Totally ruined my vacation. NEVER BOOK YOUR VACATION ON THIS LOUSY CHINESE FRAUD COMPANY. read more

Cheated! Today, they collected money for The Bangkok Grand Palace Tour $US135, we showed up on time, local tour operator rejected our booking. He left us in the cold. No telephone number to call. Finally found a klook number to call, they reinforced the same. Called bank and recalled payment read more

We reserved our tour thru klook; however, Tour excursions company didn't have our list on the trip. We kicked out of excursions and lost our whole day. Please do not trust KLOOK. You will loose your whole one day. read more
Klook was consistently my go to app while in HK over Viator and other various competitors due to their simplicity and pricing. I will not say all of their offerings were the cheapest, but a majority were. I think after the whole trip was over, I purchased around five or six tickets, which all of them worked digitally, which was great (Not a fan of printing tickets abroad). A major plus if you can find it, is some attractions offer an express line for Klook, one example being Ngong Ping 360 cable car. I have seen some say they were unable to find the express line, but I found it with ease and I flew past the long lines. I cannot comment on any customer service as all of my transactions went through without any issues. As a quick tip to end a short review, Klook is not just for HK, it can be used worldwide to save on major attractions, so I'd suggest downloading the app and taking a peek at an upcoming location you will be visiting to see if you can save some cash. read more

Used Klook for our recent trip to Hong Kong and it worked like a charm. We used it for Ngong Ping 360 Disneyland HK Ocean Park It was easy to use, and had not problems with it. All we did was purchase our tix the night before and vouchers came within the hour. The beauty of it is you can wait till the night before to make sure the weather is satisfactory for your next day plans. read more
Used Klook to book a skip the line pass to Victoria Peak tram and the service did not disappoint. First off, it was very easy to book, with transparent pricing and instructions. After purchase, you can also add the voucher onto your wallet. We met with the guide at Central Exit K, where he led us on a short 10 min walk to the Peak tram station. We skipped the part of the line outside the tram building, but still had to wait in a shorter line to board the tram (unavoidable and took about 30 min). You basically get to skip the most unpleasant part of the line, which is outside in the blazing hot Hong Kong sun. The ticket also gives you entry to the Sky Terrace for the most breathtaking views of the Hong Kong skyline. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use the service again. read more

Scam company, sold me tickets that were not honored and meals that venue didn't honor as they did not understand why this company sold me that. I contacted klook and no solution to my issue and nothing by emails back and forth by different people asking the same questions that I have answer numerous times. Stay away from this company, scam. read more
Highly recommended for those that are visiting from out of town for discounts on the major attractions. We used them to purchase our Disneyland Hong Kong tickets. Their customer service was excellent and very responsive. Lots of great deals. read more

Paying a Premium for Inconvenience and Terrible Service Klook was good for pre-purchasing SIM cards at a decent price, but they were TERRIBLE with booking airport transfers. My wife and I normally try to take as much public transportation as we can when we travel. I used Klook on my recent trip to Asia with my parents and in-laws to book airport transfers so we could have the convenience and ease of just hopping in a van together and getting to and from the airport together. First of all, all the locals we met compared Klook's price to the local vans and they always ended up higher (but I was paying a bit more for convenience, right?). Wrong. Every transfer seemed to go wrong. Our first van was scheduled to take us from our AirBnB in Hong Kong to the airport. After waiting an hour with no message from the driver, we managed to flag down two taxis to get us to the airport JUST in time to make our flight. As we were getting ready to take off, I get a message from the driver asking if I was still waiting for him. Thankfully, he requested his company to refund our trip. I was hoping this would be an isolated incident and the rest of the airport transfers would go well. Once I got my refund though, Klook refused to let me review my experience which explains why all of their ratings are so high! In Taiwan, I received an email from the company a few hours before, but all they provided was their headquarters information and the car's license plate. Once we landed, I ran around trying to figure out where I was supposed to meet the driver. I ran outside and looked at the van's license plate trying to find our driver. I even tried calling the headquarters, but the automated line kept hanging up on me. I finally find a Klook employee holding 5 signs at the other entrance. He spoke to me in mandarin and told me that since I found him 31 minutes after my "preferred pick up time", I would be charged a waiting fee. This is when I realized how ridiculous their policies are. They have a 90 minute grace period where they will wait for you before charging a fee. They ask you to specify a preferred pick up time. My flight landed at 12:15 PM and I stated that 1 PM would be preferred so that the driver wouldn't have to come so early and wait for hours since I had until 1:45 PM as a grace period. Turns out they will only wait for 30 minutes since I entered a preferred pick up time instead of the 90 minute grace period. I have very limited mandarin skills, so I figured I would work it would with the english speaking Klook customer service (that's why I'm paying that premium, right?). I emailed Klook and explained the situation and shared the email that I was given (with no instructions and details) and the screen shots of me trying to repeatedly call the headquarters and the picture of us in the van at 1:40 PM (5 min before the grace period ended), but they refused to work with us on the refund of the waiting fee. They said they made it very clear during the booking so that clients would not have any confusion. Their process cannot be any more confusing. We decide to stick with Klook for Korea because we definitely don't speak any Korean. We show up and there's no driver. Thankfully, the driver was able to speak mandarin and she called us. Turns out she picked up a ride before our scheduled trip and that ride caused her to run out of gas. She arrived 45 minutes late. Booking through Klook ended up being a disaster three out of our three destinations. We figured that maybe Klook would make it right though once we got home since their reputation is at stake, right? Wrong. They had a ton of lip service about making it right, but once their vendors refused to refund the fee, they started trying to blame us. I requested them to let us review the Hong Kong vendor that didn't show up and the request was ignored. My reviews were blocked out and it said I already submitted 5 star reviews with no comments. This is the sort of service for which I stupidly paid a premium. I will make sure everyone I know stays away from Klook and their terrible service. read more

We purchased vouchers for Lantau Island cable car and waited online for one hour to turn the Voucher in to get an actual ticket. We saved about 10% of the full price ticket but waited three times as long as people purchasing tickets. Not worth it at all!!! read more
