There was a ton of lamb meat in this shawarma, which bore a resemblance to shawarma in name only. The pita was more like a wrap, the veggies stopped at lettuce, and the sauce was vaguely Thousand-Islandy, but if you want as much lamb as possible for your buck, this is the place to go! I didn't see any central-Chinese-style mutton skewer places in my entire trip to Hong Kong, and that's usually my choice for stuffing my face with lamb, but this'll do in a pinch. Personally, were I a citizen of a country that didn't have a regressive, challenging, competitive visa policy with China, I'd just cross the border and try my luck with skewers in Shenzhen. read more
