This came with the side salad and a savoury yoghurt. Lastly, we ordered the palak paneer which translate to spinach and cottage cheese. This was perfect for a hot summer's day. Pureed spinach with chunks of cottage and spices that was not spicy at all. This comes with a choice of either plain naan bread or basmati rice, so we choose the naan bread.

Now, to get to the good stuff: I went for the Gorgonzola pizza, and my friend went for the spicy Sausage pizza. I went for the Gorgonzola pizza because it sounded pretty interesting- pears, honey and walnuts as toppings, but I was pleasantly surprised by the bouquet of flavours and textures from the combination. There was the aroma, saltiness and chewiness from the Gorgonzola, coupled with the sweet, tender pear, the crunch of the walnuts, and the subtle sweetness from a light addition of honey. I admittedly had a bit of a cold when I had it, but the flavour profile that it left was still memorable nonetheless. I also grabbed a slice of my buddy's spicy sausage pizza and that was good too! A nice rich tomato sauce along with a flavourful spicy sausage with just the right amount of toughness. I'd also add that both pizzas had a good crust- thin, but not soggy, and without a crunch to them. The doughnuts were good too- fantastic mix of fragrances, from cinnamon, to Earl Grey, to the scent of freshly made doughnuts. It was a great way to end the meal. I ought to come back again.

My friend and I come here every December for their Sunday champagne buffet. Pre-COVID, it was…read moreglorious with endless selection of high quality seafood and meat, I remember Peking Duck, suckling pig, prime rib rack, Paella and many more. Post-COVID, it's gotten worse year over year and now that Nicholini is closed, the buffet no longer stretches across the entire floor, it's limited to just Brasserie. The restaurant was packed to the gills pre-COVID but now only a handful of tables were occupied while we were there. Gone is the unlimited lobster, shrimp and other seafood and instead you'll get a platter with one of each and if you want oysters, you have to pay a surcharge of US$4 per piece. There's no longer a carving station and instead they put out a braised beef stew and another low quality item I can't even remember. The sushi/sashimi station is also gone and instead you'll get a pre-assembled fish bite of some kind. The live pasta station is still there but with mediocre selection, it's good but not something you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The rest of the buffet is just so sad with very limited and low quality selections, there's a tuna fish salad on offer, need I say more? They're also stingy with their champagne, we had to ask for a refill a couple of times and they stopped pouring half an hour before closing. We've given this restaurant more chances than it deserves and this time we're saying goodbye to them for good. For the price that we paid which was over US$150 per person, there're better choices out there.
