The idea of eating from a conveyor belt is cool, but we each just ate a couple of items and then left to eat at another restaurant instead. Restroom Tip: go upstairs in the attached mall and follow the restroom signs - the women's restrooms here are cleaner than your average HK restrooms.

As this is a chain restaurant, it's pretty clean and modern. It's also a self serve tea(make your own tea!). My only gripe was at the end of my experience where they were adding up the dishes for the final price. It turned out to be more expensive then I thought, because some dish prices actually aren't listed and could be easily misinterpreted as a another price. I had a blue scallop sashimi, which I thought was $25 bucks, but it was a extra premium item that isn't even shown on the menu which was $48. Just gotta be careful what you pick up. Definitely my fault for not asking. For a chain sushi restaurant, I was just hoping for average, and simple sushi. It is exactly what I got, plus a bit more. I was quite honestly quite surprised on the quality and thickness of the slices they gave for their sashimi and it was definitely worth the price. Did some math, and there's no benefit of taking a sushi off the belt versus ordering so if something is my rolling around and you want it, just call a waiter and order! Upon meeting up with a local relative-in-law, our party of 4 had dinner here on a Sunday evening…read more  The restaurant is located in the Tai Po Market neighborhood and is in the New Territories.  Basically it is some distance away from Hong Kong proper but still easily accessible by MTR (mass transit rail) in about 35 minutes from Kowloon, and like for most metropolises, the cost of living (meaning rent) is lower.   We had a big delicious dinner, including 4 beers between us, and the total bill was just 885 HKD or $114 USD.  In Hong Kong proper, this same dinner would have cost 25-30% more due just to rent.  We had fish served in two styles, bean curd with vegetables, pigeon, and lamb stew in a hot pot.  I and the relative-in-law had 4 Guinness stouts between us.  The dishes were all excellent quality except that for whatever reason the two fish dishes were overly salty and all 3 of us out-of-towners agreed on that. The restaurant is located inconspicuously on the second floor of a smallish mall building.  When you walk through a hallway to enter the restaurant though, somehow you are all of the sudden in a huge, grand, well-lit, crowded, and boisterous dining room.  They had a big tank of big live seafood at the entrance.  The atmosphere was very energetic and festive and the locals love this place which tells you about the good values here.  Of course, our local companion knew all about it.  Great meal and outing, and I say 4.49 stars knocked back due to the saltiness of the two main fish dishes.

You just use the iPad they provide and select the food you want. Just remember which food you get because they may miss some, and remember, you're paying for each plate. Here's a story for service. One time, my aunt and I had asked for our jug of water to be filled. No one came. Asked another two times until someone finally picked up the jug. Cool. We waited for our jug, but it was never to be seen. No one came back with it. The people sitting next to us asked for the jug of water. No one came back with it. We had to ask again, and someone finally brought it back. Yay. Guess how long this took? A good 30 minutes of waiting, and finding a person to ask. Awesome. I expected all-you-can-eat service to be poor, but I didn't expect this place, where you have to pay for each plate you order, to be just as bad. As for food. It's mediocre. Why? Some sushi plates were pretty good. They came out quickly too. What made me feel more sour about it were several plates. We had ordered some hot dishes, but you know what came out? Warm to almost cold dishes. My tea was hotter than the hot food we ordered. That says something. Some dishes we ordered were udon with chicken katsu (fried chicken), and shrimp tempura (fried battered shrimp). These dishes were just warm. Oh. The chicken katsu was dry too. Good crunchy and tasteful outside, but the inside was just dry and tasteless. Remember when I said service was poor? I assume they forgot about these plate and never took it out for a good 10 minutes that we waited for it. It was a pretty darn long time... enough for it to cool down! Oh. The wasabi here is not that spicy. I think I can handle my fair share of spice, and for the wasabi here... I can literally eat some without anything to compliment it. It has a teeny tiny kick, but it's so mild. So. Very. Mild. This place is just... a little less than okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

I enjoy being able to self-order authentically Cantonese cuisine, and this makes it accessible for non-Cantonese speakers such as myself. I do appreciate the plentiful options here, and miss this aspect of the Hong Kong dining experience.

I love these cafes. Great spots for a quick and cheap bite. Good service and you can just point to…read morepictures if you have to. I normally get the minced beef and egg with rice. It's like spaghetti sauce over rice with a sunny side up egg. Pure deliciousness!
