I had been to Killiney in Tsim Sha Tsui and I have to say that I loved every bit of it. It would have been much better had it not been that many people waiting for tables as always. Therefore, you can expect my excitement when I heard that it opened another branch at my neighborhood - Tuen Mun. Ever since the renovation in On Ting, it seems like lots of 'fancier' shops and restaurants have come to this place. I am not sure if these places would cater the needs of the residents here given the it is surrounded by public housing. Regardless, I must say that that news pleases me tremendously. Let's see if this tastes as good as the one in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Killiney is a Singaporean and Malaysian restaurant. Any my favorite dish has to be its laksa. Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Malay and Singapore. It tasted very authentic actually, very rich and spicy but not the heat I cannot handle. If you are just here for snacks, try the French Toast. It is extremely crispy on the surface but very soft on the inside. You can almost taste the flavor of egg as well.
Notice that this is a half self serviced place so you are to order the food at the cashier and get a sign in return. Later when the food is ready, waiter will get that for you. Anyways, this one is not as packed as the one in Tsim Sha Tsui. You bet that I will be coming back again! read more
