Food (**** of *****) Chicken in wine has a lot of wine flavor. Many other places will skimp on the wine to save money. Not here. The noodles are hand drawn here in an open kitchen. The food is not as good as din tai fung, but it is a very close second. For example, din tai fung will chop their veggies up by hand into very tiny pieces. The veggies here are not as finely chopped but still taste great.
Atmosphere (**** of *****) modern chinese decor with upbeat soft techno muzac.
Service (*** out of *****) typical quick hong kong service, brusque, yet efficient.
Conclusion (**** out of *****) very good shanghainese food, yet inexpensive. Gave them an extra star for value since they do not add a tea service fee nor a mandatory service charge to your bill. read more
