Their late policy is absolute: arrive even one minute past your class time and you will be locked out and charged -- no exceptions, including unforeseen circumstances. They do not answer their phone and do not accept voicemail, so there is no way to reach anyone in real time if something goes wrong. If you have time blindness, executive function challenges, ADHD, Cptsd, or a highly sensitive nervous system, this studio is not designed with you in mind. It is not trauma-informed, and the environment does not accommodate neurodivergence in any meaningful way. For those who need consistency and predictability, it's also worth knowing they have modified the traditional hot yoga sequence -- so what you practice here may not be what you expect. The waitlist system is also poorly communicated; you may not know you've been moved from a class you reserved until it's too late to plan around it. Beyond logistics, the atmosphere feels cold and unwelcoming -- though I'll leave it to others to determine how much of that is the studio versus the region. This studio is BUSINESS FOCUSED rather than CUSTOMER focused, which contributes to the stressed, unfriendly state of the world today. There are wonderful yoga communities out there that lead with warmth and genuine flexibility. This one, in my experience, is not among them.

Definitely try out yogafreak (or just join monthly unlimited;)…read more The classes here are amazing with bright energy and passionate, knowledgeable instructors. My favorite part is the different types of classes you can take, so it's not just original hot yoga but other types as well along with HIIT of course! This makes it fun to switch it up and also take a couple of classes in a row if you wanted, since they schedule different ones back to back. Another hugeeeee plus for me is that they have early morning classes and late at night if you slept through the morning ones like I often do LOL (along with late morning/ mid day, early evening etc). Additionally, the staff is nice & welcoming and I oftentimes see instructors paying extra attention/TLC to newcomers If you're a hot room lover then deff come to Yoga Freak ASAP!!!!

HIGH PRIORITY WARNING-PLEASE READ Janet's fake raspy laugh…read more& forced stoner style friendliness is about getting your money. Janet is a liar and a traitor so I would NOT put my well-being in the hands of someone with this karma. Even reading the one other yelp review shows that Janet was filling in for another instructor and then went and STOLE the business away from the person who had given her a chance to fill in. I had requested a package of classes but when I went to Janet's classes they were a waste. I didn't even finish the package. No refunds given$ There is no value in the long run wasting your time and money giving it to Janet. Trust me from my wasteful experience with Janet. You can find better value at many other studios. I hope to save you the waste of time and money when you could be benefiting from your time with many other studios. Namaste.

One instructor, Dorothy, has put me down for modifications that other instructors have taught me in private lessons. So I use them. She put me down before the class, so I emailed the owner. NO ANSWER for two weeks. She said they gave sensitivity training. So today, I took one of Dorothy's classes for the first time since then (I had no choice away for the next few days, and there was only one there today), and the same thing happened. Today, she told me I was doing everything wrong in front of everyone. She also rolled her eyes at me a few times. I am in my 50s and have problems, maybe more than most, but I should not have to feel embarrassed. I realize it's a business, and money comes first, but they need to have this sensitivity training and not just say they are. So, if you have any ailments of any kind, be careful which class you go to or go to another pilates place that trains their staff on sensitivity.

I know most people get through pregnancy and labor without Prana classes and instructors, but I…read moretruly don't know how! I took weekly prenatal yoga classes with Sarah, Dee and Judi from 12 weeks right up until my water broke. Not only did these weekly sessions help with the physical afflictions that are inevitable with pregnancy (including my horrific sciatic pain), but they helped keep my mind in the right place and prepared me for labor in both body and mind. Hearing from and being around other pregnant women each week was comforting -- like a little mini pregnancy support group. I truly looked forward to these classes and still miss them today. Dee's Yoga for Labor class not only provided me with critical tips about how to ease the pains of contraction and pushing and keep my mind calm throughout labor, but gave my husband a sense of purpose and turned him into the most spectacular labor coach. The community that I found at Prana during pregnancy has become my mom community, too. We all have our babies now and support each other online and some still see each other in person, too. When I (hopefully) get pregnant again, I will be back for weekly classes! I can't say enough good things about Sarah, Dee and Judi. Thank you, ladies, for the comfort and perspective you've brought me and so many others during this amazing time of change and growth!

For example, many elliptical (without handles) cannot work if you reverse your tread, meaning you have to restart your timing. Also, the TV's don't all work. I chalk it up to the place being used as a cash cow with limited investment made.... just enough to keep it going. Many members just only think about themselves, like leaving equipment all over the place. Many dumb bells are strewn about and I've seen many mirrors over the years get cracked because people decide to lean barbells on them. SMH. And since the facility switched over to the wipes, there are wipes all over the place instead of what used to be just paper towels. On the plus side, is the very courteous staff. I go out of my way to say hello and make eye contact with them. Overall, I'd say this facility works and the staff is greatly appreciated for keeping the place as tidy as they do. Thank you!
